I would like to share that I am using a new way of booking.
I’ve put together a 4 hour chub & barbel coaching package for anyone who wants to get more out of the river, whether you’re brand new or already confident and just want to sharpen a few tactics.
We’ll have a quick chat beforehand to tailor the session to you, and we can cover trotting, link ledgering cheesepaste, pellet/boilie fishing, watercraft… whatever you want to focus on.
Sessions can be extended too if you want more time on the bank.
I’ve set it all up properly through Swimbooker, https://anglingtrust.net/fishing-events/ so you can book easily.
If you have any questions, just drop me a message or email: [email protected]

I was also out chasing Dace last week.
It went well with some quality fish on some old school carbon.

Ironically this week I have managed to nearly treble my total barbel captures from the .
Two short sessions five landed to nearly 11lb, I have even lost a couple.
All different fish, taken on homemade boilies that they seem to have a taste for.

Well that's been toasty, just got home from the championships at Embryo Baston Shallow.
Everyone caught, but I caught a few more than everyone else to win the Corps Champs on my final event.
Two over bait and two on small mesh bags cast towards the islands, although I did loose four due to poor hook holds as they were not feeding confidently in the sweltering heat.

Here it is, the biggest chub so far this season at 5lb 9oz.
It usually weighs in at over 6lb and alot of the fish I have caught this week are well spawned our.
Hopefully this bodes well for the future.

So 48hrs on a lake I haven't seen in over 15 years.
5 bites, 4 carp to mid twenties, and thankyou very much. I fished a spread of 18mm cell to avoid the bream with 18mm wafters on turbo germans.
