Super Saturday 💜🩷

Only our four u12 league teams in action today with it being half term, and a mixed bag of results across the courts. Well done to everyone who took to court today, always plenty to learn and take away from every game.

Tomorrow, our U12 Purples have an exciting experience ahead as they take on Challengers Netball Club from Gloucester in the u12 British Cup. A fantastic opportunity, especially with 5 of our Purple squad playing a year above their age group!

We also have three of our adult teams back in their usual Llanelli league action. Good luck to everyone taking the court tomorrow!

Half term full of opportunities, challenges and new experiences!

Happy Halloween everyone, enjoy the festivities tonight! 🎃💜

💜🩷 U14 LEAGUE RESULTS 🩷💜

After a very busy day hosting our Halloween festival, we were back at the POD this evening for two U14 league fixtures!

🥇 Purple 54–15 Sospans A

A fantastic performance from the Purples, but well done to Sospans A too. Their resilience and determination kept the game going throughout and made for a really good contest. Some great netball from both sides.

🥇 Pink 22–20 Ser y Cwm A

What a game! A really close and exciting local derby, with both teams battling right to the final whistle. Well done to Ser y Cwm too for a great game.

Two wins and a brilliant way to finish a very long day!

Well done girls. So proud of the effort, teamwork and continued improvement from both teams. 💜🩷

🎃 TREFORUS HALLOWEEN NETBALL FESTIVAL 🎃

What an incredible day at the POD! 300 players, 30 teams and a whole lot of netball. What a Halloween spectacle!

A huge thank you to all the clubs who joined us today across our U8, U10 and U12 sections.

We welcomed teams from Treforus, Merlins, Mumbles, Dulais, Sketty Stars, Chaos, Ser y Cwm, Llandovery and Sospans.

The focus of the festival was fun, opportunities and fair play. Giving girls across the area the chance to play, develop, enjoy their netball and show great sportsmanship. Hopefully everyone went home with a smile!

There are plenty of photos and videos to follow, but first we wanted to give a special mention to the people who make days like today possible.

A massive thank you to all our coaches, umpires, organisers and social committee. The work behind the scenes to make these festivals happen is huge. So much time and effort goes into creating opportunities for girls across West Wales and the Afan Nedd Tawe areas, and we really couldn’t do it without you.

Thank you to all the clubs for attending and to parents for your continued support.

A special mention to Gemma, Kim and Kayden-Leigh who, after a very busy day hosting the festival, were back at the POD just an hour later for two U14 league games! Definitely a long day, but worth every minute!

So proud of everyone involved. 💜🩷

More highlights, photos and videos to follow, but today this is an appreciation post for our volunteers, with just a few photos of some of the brilliant people who gave up their time today.

Thank you everyone!

💜🩷 U13 SISTERS IN SPORT | BRITISH CUP 🩷💜

Well done to Weston Park Blades, who played some fantastic netball and gave us a real masterclass! 👏

We enter the Sisters in Sport competition to challenge ourselves, play teams from further afield and learn from different styles of netball.

Our girls never gave up and continued to support each other right until the end. A valuable experience with plenty to take into training.

We now progress into the Plate competition with our u13s. Good luck to Weston Park Blades, who we’re sure will go far in the Cup! 💜🏐

Heads up girls, onwards and upwards!

Good luck to our u12s who play Challengers Netball Club from Gloucester in their first round fixture soon!

A great 39–20 win against Morganite G. 👏

Well done to Morganite G, who gave us a good game with some really accurate shooting.

A special shout-out to our defence, who worked hard and created lots of turnovers! 💪

Well done ladies, another great team performance! 💜🩷
