Huge congratulations to our U14s who today finished their league campaign with a brilliant 4-3 win over Part B champions Bury FC. The defeat was Buryβs only league loss in Part B.
Asa got a superb hat trick and Max Garv got the winning goal. Credit to all the team though for such a good performance with no subs and in the hot weather. All the lads played well with Max W making an unbelievable save near the end to take the three points.
Well done to Max W, Max Gough, Ollie, Louie, Thomas, Will, Lucas, Brodie, Max Garv, Asa and Charlie E for a superb performance. Huge thanks to Brent Peters for his kind words after the game as well

Yesterday it was our U12s who were in Cup Semi Final action in the North Bury Premiership Cup against a strong Elton & Walshaw Jaguars side. We found ourselves 2-0 down within the opening 10 minutes so we gave ourselves a mountain to climb. Well done to all the boys who battled on for the remaining 50 minutes and gave it a real go. In the end those opening 10 minutes cost us. We wish Elton & Walshaw the best of luck in the final. Very proud of the lads for getting to another cup semi final it just wasnt to be our day yesterday. π€π€ππΌβ½

Yesterday our U14s bowed out of the ELFA Cup at the Semi Final stage but not before giving the County Cup winners Oswaldtwistle Blue a really good game. The lads went down to a 2-0 defeat with goals just before and just after half time.
Despite the scoreline the lads created openings but just couldnβt find the back of the net. The defence and midfield did an amazing job all game and the tireless running of our forwards set the tone. However player of the day went to Max W in goal who made some brilliant saves.
Despite the defeat both teams left the field to a rousing round of applause from both sets of parents and supporters after a game that was played in great spirits.
We wish Oswaldtwistle all the best in the Final as they chase a treble.
As for our lads, we could not be prouder. Time now to concentrate on the league and get some much deserved points on the board.
