A massive thanks to Co-op and our Bagshot Co-op store for choosing us to be their local community partner.

Today we were presented with a lovely cheque for £1839. This money will go towards purchasing brand new equipment for our youngest juniors, setting up a new Parent & Tots class next year and funding an additional weekly Disability Tennis session. Putting tennis right at the heart of our local community and families. We are hugely grateful for the support and a special big thanks must go to Lyn and Claire from Co-op 🎾👏

An amazing experience at the National Tennis Centre, home of the LTA in Roehampton - a chance to play on their courts, meet other clubs to discuss all things affecting grassroots club tennis and enjoy some fab hospitality.

We’re very lucky to have welcomed a second group of delightful students from Portesbury this Autumn term.

Portesbery is an all age day school (2 -19 years) catering for children and young people with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Pupils may have additional sensory impairments, physical difficulties or challenging behaviour.

Thanks to for introducing Bagshot Tennis Club to Portesbury and to Head Coach Sarah and her lovely team of volunteers, who give up their time every Friday morning to run the session 🎾

Today was the last day of our fantastic holiday camps at Bagshot - 166 children signed up (some were total beginners), everyone had a LOT of fun, made new friends and honed their tennis skills.

Come rain or shine, we have the BEST supporters! Despite the unpredicted showers, we had a great turnout yesterday for the Mixed A’s final match of the Summer league season against Walton TC - some brilliant tennis on display from both clubs and definitely worth getting soaked for 👏☔️

Thanks to the coaches, assistants, parents/carers for supporting the club - our programme has grown hugely in the last 12 months and it’s been a real team effort. Wow! Bagshot came 3rd!

Congratulations to all of our players who have represented the club in the Ladies Midweek League this 2021/22 season. A fantastic result for us in Level 3 as we’ve been up against some much larger clubs - well done to Royal Berks (1st) and Wentworth (2nd) 👏🎾👊🏼

Finally, a huge thanks goes to our wonderful midweek captain Anna for leading the team. Some of the players raised a toast in her honour at the Awards lunch today 🍷👏🎾

The inaugural Bagshot Tennis Club Spring Ball 2022 🎾

A huge shout out to all of our members and their guests who supported the event, for the many auction and raffle donations and for the epic moves on the dance floor.

Thanks to their generosity, we raised £6600 for our club 👏 £800 of which will be donated to the Ukraine Crisis Red Cross Appeal (proceeds from auction sale of signed England cricket bat).

It wouldn’t be Wimbledon without rain! Our brilliant Bagshot Junior boys took to the courts this afternoon in the wettest of conditions to battle it out in the first round of the LTA’s “Play Your Way To Wimbledon” competition.

💙💛 With only four days notice, our small but mighty club was able to host a special Sunday Morning Fundraiser for the Ukraine Crisis. 74 adult and junior members plus their guests came together. Generous cake, pastry and biscuit donations came from Costco Farnborough and Bagshot Co-op. Our coaches gave up their time to organise mini games and challenge the members. Between us, we have managed to raise a whopping £3335.76.

100% of the money will be donated to the Red Cross/DEC appeal. Thanks to every single person who contributed their time and money to make this special event happen. We are humbled by your generosity.
