On Sunday 7th June 2026, we will be celebrating an incredible achievement for our Co-Event Director, Kresh Veerasamy, and Run Director, Timi Veerasamy.

They will be completing their 500th volunteer milestone 💙💙💙💙.

Join us in celebrating by wearing blue or your parkrun volunteering merch with pride. It’s a brilliant way to celebrate national volunteering week together.

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers for bringing even more sunshine to a very warm and sunny Barking Park this morning. ☀️

We welcomed 42 amazing finishers including 4 first timers. It was a hot one and our juniors did brilliantly with a storming 16 personal bests. 🙌🏽

It was wonderful to cool down in the splash park afterwards. Huge thanks to Monica and the team at Splashy Land UK for the warm welcome for our juniors families. What a treat in a heatwave ⛲️ ❤️.
