⚽🔥 MOMENTOUS PLAYER SPOTLIGHT | HARRY

🌟 HARD WORK, QUALITY COACHING & DEVELOPMENT PAYING OFF! 🌟

A fantastic start to the season for young Harry, who continues to impress with his performances for both his school and grassroots football teams! 👏⚽

🏫 CHURCHFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL 🏆

Harry has recently been given the honour of being named CAPTAIN of his school football team! 💪

And what a way to start his captaincy! Harry scored the opening goal in their first game of the school year, helping lead his team to a comfortable victory! ⚽👏

🔴 PINFOLD PUMAS U11s RED ⚫

Harry is also enjoying some excellent form with Pinfold Pumas U11s Red, who compete in Division C of the Sheffield & District Junior Sunday League.

📊 LAST 2 GAMES:

⚽ 2 Goals
🎯 2 Assists
🔥 4 Goal Contributions

A versatile midfield player who can operate across the middle of the pitch, Harry particularly enjoys playing on the left wing, where he can run at defenders, create opportunities and deliver dangerous balls into the box.

⚫⚪ THE MOMENTOUS CONNECTION ⚫⚪

Harry is another great example of a young player putting in the extra work to improve his game! 💪

⚽ MAGIC MONDAYS – Harry works with Coach Rowan every Monday as part of our popular Momentous Magic Mondays programme, developing his technical ability, confidence and overall game understanding.

⚽ FRIDAY SMALL PRIVATE COACHING – Harry also works with Coach Toddy every Friday in our small private coaching sessions, where the smaller group environment allows for more individual detail, technical repetition and specific coaching to help take his game to the next level.

🔥 THE EXTRA WORK IS PAYING OFF!

It's fantastic to see the work being put in on the training pitch transferring into Harry's performances on matchdays.

The combination of Harry's attitude, commitment, willingness to learn and the quality coaching he receives is helping him continue to develop and improve.

At Momentous, we believe that quality coaching, attention to detail, repetition and consistent hard work make the difference.

It's not just about what happens on a Saturday or Sunday. It's about the work you put in throughout the week to give yourself the best opportunity to perform when matchday comes around!

👏 A massive well done to Harry, Coach Rowan and Coach Toddy. It's brilliant to see another Momentous player progressing, enjoying his football and getting the rewards for his hard work.

Keep working hard, Harry! Keep learning, keep improving and most importantly, keep enjoying your football! ⚽🔥

⚫⚪ MOMENTOUS REPS TEAMS | MATCHDAY 1 ⚽🔥

🔴 BARNSLEY FC ACADEMY 🆚 MOMENTOUS REPS U15/16s ⚫⚪

🏟️ Barnsley FC Academy | Oakwell Stadium
📅 Thursday 15th October
⏰ 6:00pm Kick-Off

WE START LOCAL! 📍⚽

A fantastic occasion ahead as our Momentous U15/16s Reps Team prepare for their first fixture against our local professional club, Barnsley FC Academy! 🔴⚪

After four weeks of hard work, training and assessments, our coaching team have selected a squad to represent Momentous in what promises to be a fantastic test against academy opposition.

Over the past month, the players have been working on the technical, tactical and physical demands of the game, and Thursday provides the perfect opportunity to put that work into practice in a competitive environment.

👏 MORE THAN JUST A MATCH!

Our Match Prep / Reps Teams programme is built around developing players, challenging them and helping them take their game to the next level.

The opportunity to compete against professional academies is a brilliant experience, but the real focus is on learning, improving and transferring that development into their own grassroots, JPL and academy football every weekend.

Squad selection has been incredibly difficult, which is a credit to the standard and commitment shown by the whole group. Those not involved this time will continue training and pushing for opportunities in future fixtures.

🔥 FOUR WEEKS OF PREPARATION. ONE BIG TEST.

We know the challenge Barnsley FC will provide, but that's exactly why we've created this programme — to expose talented young players to higher standards, different challenges and opportunities to test themselves.

We want our lads to be brave, competitive, confident and show what they've learned over the last month.

A big thank you to Barnsley FC Academy for providing this opportunity. We're looking forward to building a positive relationship and hopefully many more fixtures in the future.

Time to put the work into practice! 💪⚽

⚫⚪ MOMENTOUS REPS TEAMS | GAME DAY 1 ⚽

🔴 MOMENTOUS U15/16s 🆚 BARNSLEY FC 🔴

📅 Thursday 15th October
⏰ 6:00PM Kick-Off

WE START LOCAL. 📍 BARNSLEY.

A huge moment for our U15/16s as our Momentous Reps Team prepares for its opening fixture against Barnsley FC! 👏⚽

After an excellent opening month of our Match Prep / Reps Teams Programme, the lads now have the opportunity to put everything they've been working on into practice against professional academy opposition.

Over the past four weeks, our coaching team has been working closely with the players, focusing on:

⚽ Week 1 – In Possession
⚽ Week 2 – Out of Possession
⚽ Week 3 – Transitions
⚽ Week 4 – Match Preparation
🔥 Week 5 – THE GAME!

The next step is putting it all together in a competitive academy environment.

With squad selection based on performances, development and what we've seen throughout the programme, the competition for places is already pushing standards higher every week.

And what better way to begin than against our local professional club Barnsley Football Club ❤️

As a Barnsley-based coaching academy, we're proud to provide opportunities for talented local players to challenge themselves, test their ability against academy opposition and showcase what they can do.

This is exactly why we created the Momentous Reps Teams Programme — to bridge the gap between high-level grassroots football and the professional academy environment.

One month of preparation. One opportunity to showcase your ability. And hopefully the first of many exciting fixtures ahead!

THE WORK STARTS ON THE TRAINING PITCH. THE OPPORTUNITY COMES ON GAME DAY. 🔥

⚫️⚪️ WELL DONE, MOMENTOUS U8s! ⚫️⚪️

A brilliant first outing for our youngest Momentous Football Academy Reps Team! 👏⚽️

Some great football, plenty of goals and lots of smiles from the boys! It was a valuable opportunity for everyone to get on the pitch, get to know their teammates and build that relationship with Coach Toddy.

Some excellent new additions to the team too, giving us plenty to be excited about as this group grows together! 🙌

We’ll now look to challenge the boys even further against stronger opposition in their own age group, helping them develop and put their training into practice.

Most pleasing of all, every player represented Momentous with the right attitude and real class. A great start to their Reps Team journey! 🖤🤍

Thank you to Coach Toddy & to Coach Aryton and all our parents for your support 🤝

Feel free to share your thoughts and favourite moments from the game in the comments! 👇

⚫️⚪️ A FANTASTIC FIRST NIGHT FOR MOMENTOUS REPS! ⚫️⚪️

Over 50 players proudly represented Momentous Football Academy last night as our U9/10s, U11s, U12s and U13/14s took on Sheffield United Emerging Talent Teams! 👏⚽️

Our first ever Reps games, following just four weeks of training sessions, and so much to be proud of. Every team was competitive, challenged themselves and showed some fantastic football against strong opposition.

It was brilliant to see the work from our in possession, out of possession, transition and match prep weeks coming together on the pitch. The lads put their learning into practice, supported each other and represented the academy brilliantly. Such a positive experience to build on! 🙌

👏 A huge thank you to our coaching team — Martin Devaney Jimmy Whitehead, Ryan Laight & Alex Todd — for their top-quality coaching. Their hard work, guidance and commitment have helped the players prepare for these opportunities, and it was fantastic to see that work reflected in the performances.

A big thank you to Sheffield United for the invitation and the opportunity to challenge our players. Thank you to our parents for your fantastic support throughout the evening too! 👏

📸 A special thank you to Ethan at EHmedia a former Momentous player, for the great photos and for capturing the night so well! Brilliant to have him back with us, capturing some special memories from a proud night for the academy. Please feel free to share the photos and tag us in your posts!
