Huge signing for Drennan Barnsley Blacks!!

Back in January, we were buzzing in the camp to know that one of the most exciting young anglers in the U.K. was joining our squad!!

So on the eve of the Angling Trust Commercial National, we are delighted to announce current Fish O Mania Champion Brad Lucas will make his Drennan Barnsley Blacks Debut!

Brad’s all round angling will be a huge asset to the team as they not only look to defend their title tomorrow, but continue to look to the future.

Lads have made a brilliant effort today to win the day with 11pts, but just miss out overall coming 2nd to Daiwa Dorking 👏

We’ve had also had the individual winner as James Dent completes an incredible back to back win the in the competition.

SENSAS CHALLENGE TIME! 💚💙💥 The lads are down at Gloucester to fish the prestigious Sensas Challenge on the Gloucester canal! Today is the first practise day, followed by another one tomorrow. THEN, it’s the Challenge this weekend. We’ll keep you updated on how the lads are getting on!

Hopefully we can have a repeat performance of last year which saw us finish first and second! 🤞 Wish the team luck 🍀💪🏻

Absolutley BUZZING to win the Angling Trust Feeder National Championship on the Great Ouse and Middle Level! 🏆🥇 It’s a highly prestigious team event to and we’ve had some close calls in the past but never ticked this one off, so to score 31 points and take victory yesterday was fantastic! 🎣 We also had a double gold winner with Will Freeman winning the match outright, and our very own Mick Vials Fishing also winning his section! 🐟 A very well done to runners up Feederland Nomads 🥈 and third place team MKM on third 🥉 Thank you for all the support, now for to the next challenge! 👊🏼

We’ve had a fantastic week at the incredible Fountain House.

Anyone who fancies fishing this way, you won’t find anywhere better to stay.

The team are all disappointed to just miss out on the podium, but we have great people all around to allow us to enjoy our evening.

It is fully appreciated by us all.

That was a tight finish and we have fell agonisingly short of the cut for the podium. 3.5 points was the gap , the lads have fought long and hard but we couldn’t get over the line I’m afraid.

Day 2 update from the world championships for clubs

We’re lying THIRD after Day 1 in the World Club Championships out in Ireland! Mega tight at the top and it’s still all to play for 👀 HUGE day ahead tomorrow. COME ON 👊🏻😎

We head into battle for the 2025 World Club Championship at Inniscarra in Ireland tommorow! 💪🏼🎣 With 25 of the best teams in the world, it’s going to be a tough battle over two days, but after a great practice week we’re very excited to be competing on what has been a phenomenal venue over the last five practice days! 🐟 Thank you all for the amazing support this week so far, we will give it our best shot, keep your fingers crossed and wish us luck! 🍀
