On 24th October we are opening up our shop in Festival place from 11-4 and we are welcoming in makers and crafters to the space. We still have a few tables available so please do get in touch. We are happy to negotiate on table prices as everything we make goes into running our CIC.. And for young entrepreneurs we can offer free spots!

Just some tips and tricks that we have noticed if you are thinking of selling at a makers market? We hold regular ones at our creative emporium in Festival place and here’s what we’ve noticed…

PRICE YOUR ITEMS people walk away if they can’t see right away what something costs.

START A CONVERSATION interact with the person hovering around your stall. They want to talk to you about your art.

STAY OFF YOUR PHONE People don’t want to interrupt you if you are busy on your phone.

STAND UP it’s a strange one but people are more ready to buy from you if you are on the same level as them.
