We are thrilled to announce that The Magical Toy Hospital has officially secured Arts Council England funding! 🧸✨

Thanks to players and , we’ll be taking our chaotic, heartwarming emergency department on tour next year! 🩺🎭

Venues, Festivals, Councils, Arts Centres & Empty Shop Units: Looking for high-energy family theatre complete with an interactive, immersive experience?

Primary Schools: Looking to deliver the updated RSHE curriculum guidance on loss, change, and grief in a gentle, age-appropriate way?

Through our interactive toy 'patients', we help children build emotional literacy and navigate tough conversations safely and creatively.

(All we need is a flat surface that we can roll around on!)

Have you been wanting to start a weekly workshop, choir practice, life drawing class, or book club, but got scared off by upfront room hire costs?

We get it—building a new community group takes time, and we want to help you get off the ground risk-free.

At Scratch Built Productions, we’re going to be opening up the Creative Emporium for a Zero-Risk 4-Week trial:

✨ No upfront hire fees
✨ 70/30 revenue split (you keep 70% of ticket sales)
✨ Free promotion in our shop window, social media & newsletter
✨ Access to tables, chairs, and possible limited storage

Whether you teach watercolour, run an acoustic singing circle, host board game nights, or direct a choir—we want to host you!

You must have your own PLI and DBS/ safeguarding policy if working with young people or vulnerable adults.

The Beast of Basingstoke competition deadline is getting close! Have you designed your creature yet?

Design the Beast of Basingstoke!

Liverpool have the Liverbird, Wales have a Dragon... what will Basingstoke have? 🐉

This is YOUR chance to create the star of the Basingstoke Festival opening parade (19 June, 5.30pm). Will your beast be scaly? Furry? Spiky? How will it protect our community?

Draw it, paint it, write it—entries can be anything! The winning design will be brought to life by local puppet maker Nick Ash and featured in the opening parade. All entries displayed at The Creative Emporium, Festival Place.
