Prep is underway for the final week of preseason before we do it all again in the Division 1, 2 & 4.

PRE SEASON WEEK 3 - RESULTS.

A mixed First team welcomed Odiham BMI Firsts on friday evening, a narrow 2-1 loss ensued. Some key minutes for some first team players who had not been featured since May/Early June.

Devs saw off .overeaters A’s. Despite a small squad from the opposition squad, there was plenty of chances throughout, Devs firepower and passages of play saw them come out 5-4 winners, fitness now dialling in for the squad.

Ressies welcomed the Odiham Reserves, a tight encounter for the first 40 minutes, a mix of rhythm finding and tight defending in the opening stages didn’t allow much movement. Rhys Valdar was on fire as he bagged a hattrick.

Positives all around. Come on ‘Stoke 💛💙

Week 3 of PRE-SEASON🫨

Friday starts it off with the First team welcoming Odiham BMI’s First team for a local affair, kick off is at 8pm.

Double header on sunday as we welcome Odiham and Oxford.

Devs start the day for a 1pm kick off.
Ressies then kick off at 3pm to take on Odiham Reserves

Plenty of football on the go with 3 out of 4 teams in action this weekend. Where? all at the Winklebury Complex, the home of Basingstoke FC🫶

PRE-SEASON Week 2 results.

Academy welcomed IoW 2nds to town who will be familiar opponents this season.

Starting brightly Academy was up 5-1 before the 70th minute, the last 20 minutes led to three being conceded. Something that will be worked on for sure, overall a good day out and minutes for the Academy side.

The Swine Dons are new to the Southern Leagues 11s and have set the mark early doors coming over 6-2 winners against the Ressies.

However, Ressies have a few new players, this is the first time out for this season for the team and it will surely be the turn around they need for the next game.

Preseason continues for Academy as they welcome Isle of Wight 11's 2nds to Winklebury Complex this sunday.

What was set to be a double header for ‘stoke and IOW is now only the one game with just the 2nds travelling (maybe some firsts if they’re cheeky).

With IOW 3rds being decommissioned this season, it will be a interesting and tough test for Academy but this is what pre-season is about🫶

Preaseason starts for Ressies this weekend as they travel down to Swindon to take on The Swine Dons, bring back the win lads💛💙
