Not that we work from an office, but hopefully catch the drift ๐
I am off to Creamfields whilst our other admins will be enjoying and spreading awareness of SANDS & SANDS United at CarFest ๐
We have had lots of messages and comments especially as a result of the BBC post of which we are so grateful for, we are typically quick to reply to messages, but we have a long weekend off!
Thank you for the support, have a lovely bank holiday weekend all ๐๐งก๐

After the success of last year, SANDS United will be returning to CarFest 2026 in the new home of Silverstone ๐
Another brilliant opportunity to raise awareness and giving the opportunity to talk about early pregnancy and baby loss, and in some cases, a chance for people to speak their angels name ๐ฏ๏ธ

Today is Rainbow Baby Day ๐ We know that many of you will have mixed emotions about this day. You may have your Rainbow Baby or you may be navigating pregnancy or baby loss right now. Some of you may be trying to conceive after loss.
We also know that while having another baby after loss can be a joyful time, it can also be a reminder of what was lost and is often a very worrying time for bereaved parents.
Please know we are here, if you need to talk ๐๐งก

Thereโs not just one Sands United. Thereโs about 40 of them.
It started in Northampton in 2018. Rob Allen lost his daughter Niamh, four days before she was due. He put on one charity match at Sixfields. So many dads turned up they made it a proper side.
Now there are teams across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Dads, uncles, brothers. Names of the kids stitched over the heart.
They train midweek. Nobody has to talk if they donโt want to. A lot of them do, because itโs the one place where everyone already understands.
Footballโs the thing that gets them out of the house.

Could your company become a Sands Champion for Baby Loss Awareness Week 2026? ๐๐งก
This is a unique way for you to join with your colleagues and networks to create a safe space at work, raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss, and show support to bereaved colleagues, customers, and the wider baby loss community.
If youโd like your employer to be recognised, ask them to pledge to become a Sands Champion for Baby Loss Awareness Week through the link in the comments ๐
