⚫️🔴 Hatherleigh Tournament 🔴⚫️

Straight back to it for our U10s today as the took part in the Hatherleigh U11s Tournament.

The team consisting on mostly U10s playing a year up , no recognised goal keeper and return to the team they started with for Parker & Jacob brought the trophy 🏆 back to the Sham Siro !

A great achievement for these boys , smiles and laughter all day - not to mention some great football and goals !

Next up Bideford Blues tournament next weekend.

What an amazing 🤩 experience for our teams the last couple of days!

Travelling hundreds of miles to play on the Famous Old Trafford Pitch , such a special magical experience for all the boys ! Memories for a life time - & dreams come true for some !

Our U10s took 2 teams and our U12s took a side , it was amazing to see our U10s and U12s make
It to the final in their events but unfortunately both teams suffered heart break 💔 in the finals - but we are all so proud !

A MASSIVE thank you to all our fantastic parents who made this experience possible for their children and travelled those miles to support Shammy Rovers !

A special thanks to all our sponsors who in turn made it possible but also had the boys looking the part in custom Man Utd style Shammy kits - a wonderful momento for all the boys.

🏆 U12s League Champions 🤩

Tonight our U12s wrapped up the league title with a 1-0 win against Fremington Youth FC

Goal scorer Joey Friesen after a great assist from Riley Bowler.

This team has done so well against the odds to win the league with fantastic football all season - some BIG results in the last few weeks see them deservedly bring the title back to the The Sham Siro

Congratulations 👏

Well done to the boys - but also big well done to our volunteer Coaches Mike & Steve who have guided the team all season.

We now move on to a MASSIVE game for the club this week on Wednesday night - our U12s take on Fremington Youth FC in what is a title deciding last game of the season.

This team has had an amazing season with a great run in the county cup to go alongside their league campaign & league cup final appearance, and not to forget a couple tournament wins under their belts already.

Another great day for our U10s - going all the way again and winning the South Molton Football Club - Juniors Tournament.

The team played some unbelievable football throughout the group stage scoring 14 goals in 3 games !

They rounded off the win 🏆 with a fabulous 6-0 win in the final.

What an amazing group of boys !

Attentions now turn to the U10s trip to Old Trafford the home of Manchester Utd - when they take 2 teams to play on the pitch in the Precision Pass Tournament.

A great start to the weekend for our sides , unfortunately at the South Molton Football Club - Juniors tournament both the U11s & U15s girls lost in the final of the plate competition but played some great stuff to get there.

One of our U10s teams traveled to Cornwall to take part in the PRO20 Sports Academy event at Camelford - coming away as Plate trophy winners 🤩

A massive achievement for this side , great rewards for the commitment of coaches Gary & Danny & the boys - some of who until this season hadn’t played proper football !
