Sports Centre Car Park Partial Closure
There will be a section of our car park that will be out of use from Today - Friday 14th August - Tuesday 18th August.
This area has been cordoned off by our facilities team to allow the necessary work vehicles easy access over the weekend whilst our ongoing renovations take place on the extended Gym.
We apologise for the inconvenience.

Bede Sport Centre is open to the whole community outside college opening hours, providing a range of activities and booking sessions.
SRC Sports Centre has been open since 2009 providing the following high quality facilities
The facilities available are:
- A four-court Sports Hall that can accommodate basketball, badminton, cricket and a whole range of other indoor sporting activities
- A FIFA 1 standard, FA registered, flood-lit Astro Pitch
- A Fitness Suite providing a full range of modern gym equipment
- A 10 metre-high
Friday 21st August - Centre & Gym Opening hours.
On Friday 21st August the Sports Centre and Gym will be closed until 2pm.
Customers will be able to access our facilities from 2pm and throughout the evening.
Fitness Suite Opening Hours
The Fitness Suite will open earlier during the official school summer holidays.
The fitness suite will open from 11am weekdays from Monday 20th July - Friday 28th August.

Bank Holiday Closure
The Sports Centre will be closed on Monday 25th May due to the bank holiday weekend.
The Centre will still be open as normal on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May.
The Centre will reopen as normal on Tuesday 26th May!

❌Bank Holiday Closure❌
The Sports Centre will be closed for bank holiday on Monday 4th May.
The Centre will reopen as normal at 5pm on Tuesday 5th May.
The technical issues with the phone lines has now been resolved. We apologise again for any inconvenience this caused.
We are currently having issues with our phone line so unfortunately we will not be able to take phone calls at present. Our IT Team are looking into this with the hope that it can be addressed ASAP. Apologies for the inconvenience that this may cause.

The Sports Centre will have some closures over the Easter Bank holiday weekend. Please see our opening hours below. 👇🏼
Good Friday (3rd April) - Closed ❌
Saturday 4th April - Open normal operating hours✅
Easter Sunday (5th April) - Open normal operating hours✅
Easter Monday (6th April) - Closed❌
The Sports Centre will resume it’s normally weekly operating hours from Tuesday 7th April onwards.
