Fitness should fit INTO your life

You can still do all the ‘non fitnessy’ things too

Finding the balance that is right for you is important for your journey, it makes it much more enjoyable and sustainable 🙌

If you find enjoyment out of it and achieve things you’re proud of then go for it!!

Don’t compare what you can do to anyone else, we are all on our own paths 🙌

There are many reasons why you might not be seeing progress in the gym, these are just some of them

Following the same programme week in week out may sound boring but this is what works. Following random instagram workouts isn’t going to get you the results you want.

Work hard, nail the fundamentals, stay consistent and you will see the progress you’re looking for 🙌

The week before a race often looks a little different

Your training volume reduces, more recovery work and plenty of hydration

The aim is to feel as fresh as possible on race day

The hard work is done so now it’s time to enjoy it! 🙌

Instead of writing the weekend off because your going out drinking on Saturday, start thinking about what you can do around that, could you do a workout in the morning, have a high protein and nutritious breakfast, go for a walk on Sunday?

It’s about looking at the things you can do, not what you can’t

I’m so proud of this clients mindset shift 🥹

She said this is the fist time she’s been on holiday and not felt guilty

This is major

Previously she’s labelled foods as ‘bad foods’ and food she shouldn’t have, so when she went on holiday she always felt guilty for eating them

Whereas this time, she went with the mindset of enjoying herself, enjoying the food as she knew when she got back she would be back into her routine of meal planning and good nutrition

Therefore, no progress has been lost and she is back doing what she was before her holiday!

And this is a massive step towards making health and fitness part of her lifestyle! 🙌

RDLs are one of the hardest movements to nail but once you do there SO GOOD for the glutes! 🍑

Spend time perfecting your form before you worry about the weight.
