Following on from the below post, we wish to make this statement.

Nobody from Old Parkonians has asked Bob Shaw Photography not to attend any future games, nor have they said he is no longer welcome at the club. He was simply asked to remove photos of a minor that were published online. The Old Parkonians grounds are private, not public, and therefore permission is required to attend to photograph any game.

Open age cricket may include Under 18 players and per the ECB Photo, Video and Live Streaming Policy, permission must be sought in advance for EVERY game within private grounds so the correct permissions can be obtained from parents and guardians, as well as players. ANY match may include children who are at risk, as well as vulnerable adults. This applies to all Cricket Clubs under the auspices of the ECB, not just ours, and regardless of whether the game is held in a public park or not.

Bob is welcome to the club at any time in the future, as long as the rules are followed.
