Our younger members told us we needed to join the 21st century, so we've finally taken the plunge and posted our very first TikTok.

Will we be learning dance routines? Probably not.

Will we be sharing real women, real fitness, plenty of laughs and what life after 40 actually looks like?

Kirsty almost didn’t send me these holiday bikini photos because she was focusing on the things she still wants to improve.

So I reminded her of something important…

A year ago, these photos would have been the goal.

As women, we’re often far too quick to criticise ourselves and far too slow to celebrate how far we’ve come. We spend so much time looking for the next thing to improve that we forget to acknowledge what we’ve already achieved.

So I’m doing it for her!

A huge well done to Kirsty!! You look absolutely fabulous, and you should be incredibly proud of yourself. πŸ‘πŸ”₯

The best part? This hasn’t come from spending hours and hours in the gym or faddy, unrealistic dieting.

Kirsty has achieved this by

βœ… 2 solo gym workouts per week following her personalised programme, regularly updated by our team
βœ… Attending 1 small group PT session each week
βœ… Tracking her calories consistently
βœ… Hitting the protein target we worked out specifically for her body and goals

No extremes. No restricting her favourite foods and drinks. Just consistency, support, and trust in the process.

Progress isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, week after week, and giving yourself credit for how far you’ve come πŸ‘

We say it all the time in the gym – and this new study backs it up …. Exercise isn’t just about weight loss or looking good, it’s about living longer, staying healthier, and maintaining your independence as you get older.

Recent research shows that lifting weights & staying active through middle age can significantly reduce the risk of early death. Strength training is especially important, helping to maintain muscle, bone strength, balance, and overall health as we age.
