Killylough FC are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our own, Leo Rooney, who has been crowned Sportsperson of the Year at St. Macartan’s College! 👏⚽

Leo was a key player in this season’s U15 Premiership squad and has proven himself to be a complete athlete, excelling in every sport he takes part in.

His dedication, talent, and attitude make him a fantastic representative of our club both on and off the pitch.

Congratulations Leo, a truly deserved achievement! 💚

A huge thank you to CMUL -Cavan Monaghan Underage League and the The Sean McCaffrey Foundation for a fantastic evening in Clones Town F.C. as the CMUL Summer Soccer kicked off! ⚽️

The Killylough Juveniles had a brilliant time, showing great skill, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout.

A special shoutout and happy birthday to Jack, who marked the occasion in style by earning the match ball with an outstanding performance! 🎉⚽️

Well done to all the Killylough FC 2017s, who had a great Bank Holiday at a tournament in Derry.

Some great goals were scored. Both teams lost out to the eventual winners ⚽⚽

Huge congratulations to our own Cillian Corrigan on scoring the winning goal to send his CMUL side into the All Ireland Shield Final! ⚽💙👏

Congratulations to the Killylough U12 Green team on winning the League Cup!

This has been a fantastic season built on commitment, effort, teamwork and a brilliant attitude from everyone involved. From the very beginning the focus has been on working together, supporting one another and creating an environment where every player could develop and enjoy their football.

Throughout the season equal playing time was a key priority, along with giving players the chance to experience different positions both in matches and in training. We also encouraged the group to take on added responsibility — stepping into roles as mini managers, match reporters and game analysers — helping to deepen their understanding and enjoyment of the game.

It’s been a season full of fun, learning and skill development with teamwork at the heart of everything we’ve done.

We’re looking forward to building on this success next season and seeing the team continue to grow and develop together.
