The Dirt Dashes are what you make of them.

We provide a professionally planned route, great campsites, tasty local food, and support if things don’t quite go to plan. And if you need help, you’ll always speak to a friendly human - never a chatbot.

But what makes a Dirt Dash truly special is you.

The chats on the climbs. The laughs around camp. The encouragement when someone’s having a tough moment. The stories shared over dinner. That’s the community we’ve always hoped to create.

A Dirt Dash isn’t about racing. It’s about spending a weekend exploring beautiful places by bike with a brilliant bunch of people.

Our next event - a guided ride from 6 - 13 September with & on the Mjolkevegen in 🇳🇴. All rooms we initially reserved are filled now, but we can accommodate four more people on request if you get FOMO reading this. Drop us a message & we’ll do our best to have you joining us.

Two weeks ago we spent an amazing weekend on the trails of the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Coast. So many smiles, so many great conversations - that’s what Dirt Dash is all about. Thanks to everyone who joined us and made it such a special weekend.

Save 12–13 June 2027 in your diary – we’ll be back in Yorkshire! And before then, we’d love to see you at the Lezyne Dunoon Dirt Dash on 26–27 September for one last adventure on Scotland’s spectacular west coast this year.

Entries for the Stans Yorkshire Coast Dirt Dash close tomorrow night - and with lots of new followers here, we thought we’d share a quick history of the event.

Our only Dirt Dash outside Scotland grew out of Markus’ work developing a network of cycling routes for Route YC. After a great press trip, and with support from our long-term partner Komoot, we launched the Yorkshire Coast Dirt Dash in 2024.

The first route was based on the Route YC Adventure Weekender, but it has evolved every year since. We’ve seen plenty of smiling faces on the press trip and at the last two Yorkshire Coast Dirt Dashes - and we can’t wait to welcome you to on Saturday morning for a brilliant weekend of riding bikes.

Entries cost £99, including dinner, camping, breakfast and snacks, plus professionally planned routes and event photography.
