⚫ SATURDAY MORNING CLUB ⚪
Just a reminder that Saturday Morning Club is ON as normal tomorrow ☀️⚽
Our session will be taking place on the back field at the Arena while the main pitch redevelopment continues.
Please arrive as normal and follow the path to the back field, where our coaches will be on hand to guide everyone to the correct area.
As it’s a little further to walk, please make sure all children:
- Bring plenty of water
- Use the toilet before the session
To help with this, we would encourage parents and guardians to stay for the duration of the session.
Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! 🖤🤍

⚫ ONE TOURNAMENT NATIONAL FINALS ⚪
This weekend, our Boys Academy U9s head to the One Tournament National Finals after earning their place by qualifying through the regional heats last month 🖤🤍
The boys have worked incredibly hard to get to this stage and now have the chance to test themselves against some of the best teams from across the country.
Good luck boys. Go and smash it! 👏🏻⚽🤍🖤

⚫ SESSION UPDATE ⚪
Due to the extreme temperatures forecast this week, we have made the decision to postpone our Wednesday’s Boys Academy session, along with our After School Clubs at Barton’s Primary School and Rose Green Infant & Junior Schools on Wednesday and Thursday.
This decision has been made in the interests of player safety and wellbeing and follows discussions with the schools regarding the forecast temperatures. 🥵
With temperatures expected to reach around 34°C and limited shade available on the back field at Pagham, we feel it is the right decision to put the welfare of our players first.
This is actually the first time we have had to make a decision like this at Pathway, so not a bad problem to have in the UK! ☀️
We appreciate this may be disappointing for some players, but we hope everyone understands the reasons behind the decision.
Enjoy the sunshine, stay safe and we look forward to seeing everyone back next week as normal.
Team Pathway 🖤🤍

⚽ ARENA PITCH UPDATE ⚽
We have some exciting news!
The Arena Sports Centre football pitch is being completely relaid this summer and upgraded to a brand new state-of-the-art 4G surface 🙌🏻
As a result, the current pitch will be closed from Sunday 21st June until September while the work takes place.
The good news is that all Pathway sessions, academies and Bognor holiday courses will continue as normal during this period. We will simply be moving across to the back field at the Arena, where Pagham FC train and play.
Please arrive as normal and follow the Regis School pathway to the back field. Our coaches will be on hand to help direct players and parents to the correct session.
With the warm weather continuing, please ensure all players bring plenty of water and use the toilets before the session as it is a short walk from the parking area. As always, we will be making sure players have regular water breaks throughout sessions and plenty of opportunities to get out of the sun when needed. ☀️
We’re really looking forward to seeing the finished pitch later this year and thank you all for your support while the work is completed.
If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch. 🖤🤍

⚫ PATHWAY MOMENT ⚪
A special shoutout to Fleur for her fantastic performances at the Burgess Hill Summer Tournament this weekend 🖤🤍
Fleur didn’t put a foot wrong all day. She was rock solid in defence, showed great composure on the ball and completed countless successful passes to help her team play with confidence.
As if that wasn’t enough, she also popped up with a game-winning goal to cap off a brilliant tournament 👏🏻⚽
Well done Fleur. Keep up the great work 🖤🤍

⚫ PATHWAY GIRLS ⚪
Our Pathway Girls Academy Under 8s competed at the Burgess Hill Summer Tournament this weekend and were absolutely outstanding from start to finish 🖤🤍
Unbelievable teamwork, determination and quality saw the girls reach the final without conceding a single goal, scoring an incredible 24 goals along the way 👏🏻
The final was a fantastic game between two strong sides, with chances at both ends and very little to separate the teams. Unfortunately, the girls narrowly missed out after conceding a (questionable) late penalty, but they should be incredibly proud of their performances throughout the tournament.
A huge well done to all of the girls 🖤🤍

⚫ PATHWAY MOMENT ⚪
A shoutout to Milo, who played his part in helping our Pathway Boys Academy U9s reach the final of the One Tournament Regionals and secure their place at the National Finals 🖤🤍
Throughout the day, Milo scored some important goals, but two moments really stood out.
The first was a fantastic volley into the bottom corner from a perfectly delivered ball by teammate Regan. A technique the boys have worked hard on in training and one that Milo executed brilliantly when it mattered most 👏🏻⚽🚀
The second came in a tense match with the score locked at 0-0. With Milo off, Coach Richie commented that the team needed a “Magic Milo Moment” and sent him onto the pitch with only a couple of minutes remaining.
Moments later, through brilliant teamwork, Milo scored the winning goal to secure a crucial 1-0 victory for the boys 🙌🏻
Well done Milo. Keep up the great work 👏🏻🖤🤍
And a huge congratulations to all our U9 team on reaching the Football Tournaments & Tours 2026 National Finals. A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved ⚽🏆

⚫ PATHWAY MOMENT ⚪
A special shoutout to Roman for his performance against Alan Ball Academy 👏🏻⚽
One of the most pleasing things to see as a coach is a player taking on information and applying it during a game, and that’s exactly what Roman did.
After receiving some tactical advice from Coach Lee, Roman adapted his game brilliantly and the impact was clear to see. His understanding, work rate and decision-making helped him become a dominant force throughout the match.
Well done, Roman. Keep up the great work 🖤🤍
