After a brilliant weekend of golf in our 2026 Club Championships we now have our winners of this years competition….

Congratulations to our new 2026 Club Champion Michael Day with a fantastic gross score of 138 (Even Par) for both rounds, winning our Scratch Cup for the very first time !!!

Congratulations to our 2026 Nett Club Champion, one of our junior members, Rudy Jamieson with a brilliant nett score of 131 (-7) for both rounds, winning our Wiltshire Cup !! This came after an incredible nett 61 on the final day !!

Congratulations to our 2026 Timber Trophy Champion was, Robert Welch, with a score of 19 points. A great addition to our Club Championships weekend, after the infamous tree incident last year

We would like to say well done to all our other Nett and Gross Prize Winners for the weekend, who all had an outstanding two rounds

We would like to thank the volunteers, Greenkeepers, our clubhouse staff and all those who helped run the competition for making this event special and memorable this year and we can’t wait for the next one to come around in 2027 !!

With very warm weather forecast over the next few days, we encourage all members and visitors to take extra care while enjoying their golf at Henbury Golf Club.

🏌️‍♂️ Our PGA Professional, Jamie, is a proud UK Ambassador for Melanoma Fund UK, helping to raise awareness of sun safety and skin cancer prevention within golf and outdoor sports.

Stay Protected on the Course:

💧 Stay hydrated – drink water before, during and after your round.
🧴 Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen and reapply regularly.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is nearly here, and we are excited to launch the official Henbury Golf Club World Cup Sweepstakes!

This is your chance to get involved, follow the tournament throughout the summer, and compete for fantastic winnings added directly onto Professional Shop Accounts.

HOW IT WORKS

Each entrant will be randomly allocated THREE teams:
- One team from Pot One
- One team from Pot Two
- One team from Pot Three

Teams will earn points throughout the tournament based on their team performances.

The member with the highest combined total points at the end of the tournament will be crowned the winner!

SCORING SYSTEM

Group Stage Win – 3 points
Group Stage Draw – 1 point

Qualify for Round of 32 – 5 points
Reach Round of 16 – 8 points
Reach Quarter-Finals – 12 points
Reach Semi-Finals – 18 points
Reach Final – 25 points

Win the FIFA World Cup – 35 points

TIEBREAKERS

If players finish level on points, the following tiebreakers will apply:

1. Most Knockout Stage Wins
2. Most Goals Scored
