Henbury Golf Club – Our Journey Over the Past Five Years

Over the past five years, myself and the professional team consisting of Jonah Williams, Holly Langford, Jon Sheeran and Millie Gait at Henbury Golf Club have worked incredibly hard to create one of the most welcoming, progressive and engaging golf environments in the South West.

Our focus has always been simple — grow the game, support our members, and deliver the highest level of coaching, service and retail experience possible.

Through structured coaching programmes, junior development, women’s golf initiatives, custom fitting, and a thriving retail operation, we have helped introduce hundreds of new golfers to the game while supporting existing members in improving and enjoying their golf more.

We are particularly proud of the growth in participation across the club, including the development of our Women’s Academy and beginner pathways, which has helped Henbury recently receive the England Golf Women in Golf Charter Award 2026.

Alongside this, we continue to deliver high-level coaching using the latest technology in our Foresight GCQuad swing studio, while also mentoring the next generation of PGA Professionals within our team.

The success of Henbury over the past five years is a reflection of the fantastic support from our members, staff and volunteers — and we are incredibly excited about what the future holds.

Please note: Opening hours may change depending on business levels and event requirements. During periods of adverse weather, the clubhouse may close earlier than scheduled.

Kitchen

Daily: 10:00am – 4:30pm

Please note: Kitchen opening hours may also vary according to business levels and event requirements. Hours may be extended to accommodate functions or social events.

The bar team has discretion to close the bar and clubhouse early after sunset if there are no customers present and the car park is empty

We are incredibly proud to share that Henbury Golf Club has been awarded the Women in Golf Charter Award at the England Golf Awards.

This recognition reflects the hard work, commitment and collective effort across the club to create a more welcoming, inclusive and progressive environment for women and girls in golf. Over recent years we have worked hard to develop opportunities, encourage participation and ensure the club continues to move forward in a positive and supportive way.

To see that work recognised at a national level is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved with the club.

A huge thank you to all of our members, volunteers and the team whose continued support and dedication have helped make this possible. This award is something the whole club can be very proud of, and we look forward to continuing to build on this momentum in the years ahead.
