1’s progress in the cup with a 45 run victory against

Batting first we hit 190-4. A master class from who smashed his way to 134 off 65 balls with 11x4 and 9x6. supported with 30.

In reply Lympsham & Belvedere got off to a flyer but wickets fell at regular intervals and not being happy with his batting Mitch finished with 4-25 from his 4 overs and a direct hit runout 👏 2-33 .elswood 1-26 chipped in as our visitors ended up 145-8.

Great effort by the 2’s tonight who came up just short against a side 3 Divisions higher 🏏

Batting first we reached 141-4 with a fine 78no for returning from injury who was supported by with 27no.

In response we had a great start with .b taking 2 early wickets and figures of 3-0-9-2, skipper Ellis Turner 4-0-24-2, young Lewis with another wicket 1-28 and .grubb2 1-37 as reached the target with 9 balls left and 3 wickets in hand.

One of those weekends with both teams losing.

1’s lose by 80 runs

Lodway hit 257-4 2-35 1-43 .07 1-83

In response we were ao for 177. Spiersy with 42 .elswood with 36 Sochy with 21

2’s lost by 144 runs as ran out comfortable winners. Batting first they reached 227-8. Young un Lewis starred with the ball and ended up with 3-32 from his 8 overs, 2-35 2-44 and Ben P with 1-35.

In response we lost wickets at regular intervals with top scoring with 28 and only Gealo with 13 and with 12 reached double figures.

On to next week lads when we hope we have no more injuries, illness, warm up injuries, weddings and any other obstacles 😆
