👑 MOVE YOUR BODY. RAISE MONEY. DO SOME GOOD. 🧡
Huge shout-out to our wonderful Mojo Sister Ellie Ell A Nor for spotting this one and sharing it with the club! 🙌
Strava and the People’s Postcode Lottery have teamed up for Crowns for Causes and the idea is brilliantly simple.
🏃♀️ Run
🚶♀️ Walk
🚴♀️ Cycle
🏊♀️ Swim
Complete 30km between 8th–28th August and your activity can help unlock charitable donations.
Basically… do the stuff many of us are doing anyway, but make it count for something extra. 👑🧡
Thank you Ellie for bringing it to everyone’s attention, this is exactly what our Mojo Sisters community is all about. Sharing, supporting and inspiring each other.

🦸♀️SISTERHOOD IN SPORT: BETTY BROMAGE 🦸♀️
Well… this woman is an absolute LEGEND. 🙌🏼✈️
Meet Betty Bromage , 97 and officially the world’s oldest female wing walker.
Earlier this month, Betty strapped herself to the top of a biplane and took to the skies to break her own Guinness World Record.
And here’s the best bit…
She didn’t even START wing walking until she was 87. 🤯
This was her sixth wing walk, and it came just a year after Betty suffered a stroke. She took on the challenge to raise money for Cheltenham General Hospital, where she received treatment and care.
At 97, Betty has impaired vision and reduced mobility — but rather than focusing on the things she can’t do, she’s determined to keep doing the things she can.
And we LOVE that. 🧡
Because getting older doesn’t mean getting smaller.
It doesn’t mean adventure has to stop.
And it certainly doesn’t mean we stop challenging ourselves.
Apparently Betty is already thinking about what she can do for her 100th birthday. 😂🙌🏼
Betty, we salute you.
97 years old. Strapped to the top of an aeroplane.
Sisterhood in Sport material if ever we saw it. 🧡✈️💪🏼

🧡 WEEKEND MOJO WINS! 🧡
A MASSIVE congratulations to Gillian Adair Smith, who took an incredible 🥈 2nd in her age group at St Neots Triathlon this weekend!
Even more impressive, Gillian did it with no real taper, right in the middle of peak training for 70.3 Austria. 🔥🇦🇹 Go Gillian!
And another HUGE cheer for Claire Ankers, who completed her FIRST EVER Olympic-distance triathlon! 🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️🎉
And the best bit? She loved it! 🧡
Congratulations Claire , first Olympic DONE! 🙌
Meanwhile, there’s been plenty happening across Mojo Sisters…
👭 We’ve loved seeing local social meet-ups popping up around the country, proving that being a national club definitely doesn’t mean training alone.
👟 And our 12-week Run Challenge is officially underway! Hounds 🐕, Hares 🐇 and Cheetahs 🐆 are heading out for their baseline runs this week and getting those plans into action.
Racing, firsts, podiums, training and doing it together. Just how we like it. 🧡
Have a brilliant week, Mojo’s! 🙌

🧡 What an adventure. What an achievement. 🩵
This weekend, our amazing Mojo member Anne Loveday, completed an incredible 24km Downhill Swim in Finland. 🇫🇮🌊
This wasn’t just about swimming 24 kilometres.
After battling injury last year, Anne committed herself to becoming stronger than ever. Months of open water training, strength and conditioning, smart fuelling and consistent recovery all led to this one unforgettable challenge.
From swimming through Finland’s breathtaking wilderness to spending evenings in lakeside cabins with bears just a few kilometres away (yes, really! 🐻), this was so much more than a race. It was an adventure of a lifetime.
We’re incredibly proud to have women like Anne in our community, showing that resilience, patience and consistency can take you to some truly extraordinary places.
Anne Loveday you absolute Queen 👑 🧜♀️
