so my aim is to get people out walking or swimming & enjoy the beauty on their doorstep, with the added incentive of homemade cake! �� what's not to like! I've always loved walking; going on adventures, but in 2015 I stepped it up a gear to train for the Thames path challenge 100k in 24 hours. I came in just under that , but the hours of training walks really gave me a new look at Kent.

This yew tree tunnel in Ireland has been growing for centuries, the trunks bending inward until they locked together into natural arches. The Dark Hedges gets all the attention, but this one is older, quieter, and far less visited. #ireland #travel

What to do when it’s 46degrees in the car on your return after 4 classes back to back and there’s a 32 mile detour due to road closures on your way home!!!! 🤬🥵☀️🔥And then you get to the beach and there’s more people than you’ve ever seen plus several emergency vehicles cos there’s a CAR in the harbour… when will they realise that the slipway gets slippery?! Oh and then I lost my favourite sunglasses in the water 😎 😵‍💫and the ice cream van was SHUT! 🙄

What a lovely day. Gorgeous early swim at Dover despite the low tide and unexpected waves! Then just caught the solar eclipse as I left work and home in time to catch the sunset 🌅

A rare weds morning off so up and at it for a sunny and surprisingly bouncy swim at Dover . Forgot to check the tide and it was super low but we managed a 30 min’ or so “fast wash” 😂 so grateful to have access this #slowmornings #yogateacherlife #seaswimming #gratitude
