🦁 PLAYER PROFILE #01 | BEN ROWLEY

First up in our new Player Profile series — Ben Rowley, No.10, Striker.

A team of best mates, Bourne’s first-ever trophy, and a fairly brutal assessment of a few teammates 😂

He’s also started this season on fire:

4 league games
7 goals ⚽️
1 assist 🎯
Scored in all 4 games 🔥

Swipe through to get to know Ben, see who he’s thrown under the bus, and check out his season so far 👀

This week's fixture see's us take on Faversham Town Sundays. Nothing else on the agenda but going 5 from 5, before a little Kent cup action the following week.

The winning run continues, 4 from 4. Should have scored 7 or 8 but hey can't have it all!! We had to come from behind twice after giving away 2 sloppy goals but we got the job done in the end 🙌

Another 2 for Ben Rowley, that takes him to 7 in 4.

One a piece for Nathan and Trey.

Assists coming from Billy Croucher and Tom Dunne.

Motm - Tom Dunne for the 2nd week in a row 👏

This week we leave the comforts of the fortress and head to Cherry Orchard for our first away game of the season vs newcomers Bay Rovers. Nothing will be taken for granted but we will be aiming to make it 4 from 4 and trying to keep up with the early pace setters.

Bourne Fc 1 vs 0 Canterbury Bombers Reserves

Not vintage by any stretch of the imagination but another 3 points in the bag. Fair play to Bombers digging in with 11 men. Defence did their job and the attack struggled but 2 clean sheets in a row is nothing to be scoffed at.

Our goal was controversial to say the least, but Ben was on hand to tuck it in from a Nathan cut back, taking his tally to 5 goals from 3 games 🙌

GW 4

After a last minute postponement, we took the opportunity to get onto the training field and after a 2 hour session, I think we learnt a lot about ourselves!! This week we welcome Canterbury Bombers Reserves to the fortress, where we will be looking to keep the momentum going!!
