Can you believe it? On June 1st, 1996, the gates to Cottrell Resort officially opened to the world.
After two years of construction, our beautiful estate transformed from a grand vision into the thriving golfing community and resort we all love today. Over the last three decades, these grounds have been home to unforgettable rounds, lifelong friendships, family celebrations, and so many shared memories.
We've grown, we’ve developed our courses, upgraded our clubhouse, and evolved over the years—but our incredible community has remained at the heart of everything we do.

The sun is shining, the course looks brilliant, and a good time was had by all.

Lately, one very cute visitor has been making herself right at home! Our resident fox has been spotted exploring the fairways and enjoying the peaceful surroundings, quickly becoming part of the Cottrell family.
If you’re out on the course, keep your eyes peeled… you might just spot her making an appearance between holes. ⛳💚

⛳️✨ Hole of the Month – Mackintosh Course, Hole 02 ✨⛳️
A true risk-and-reward challenge to kick off this month’s feature. Playing 383 yards from the whites, the 2nd on the Mackintosh Course is a sharp dog-leg right that demands strategy from the very first shot.
The key here is positioning. A drive aimed towards the tree on the left (around 200 yards) opens up the perfect angle for a straightforward approach into the green. Miss the spot, and suddenly the hole becomes a whole lot tougher.
💡 Handy Tip: If the tree on the left is out of reach, play smart and lay up short to the 150-yard marker on the right, then take your second shot safely over the trees.
