Cheam Sports Club AGM - Tuesday 13 October, 7.45pm
Notice has been given that the Annual General Meeting of Cheam Sports Club will be held on Tuesday 13 October at 7.45pm. Cheam Cricket Club is a section of Cheam Sports Club, so this is your AGM.
To attend you must be a fully paid-up member of one of the Club's sections, and you must bring your membership card. Social members of a section may attend but cannot vote.
Two deadlines fall on Monday 28 September, and both need written notice to the Club Secretary. If you want to stand for election as an Executive Officer - Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer or Secretary - you must give written notice by then; you must be 18 or over, state your membership status, and name two sponsors who are Full Members aged 18 or over. And if you want an item raised under Any Other Business, it must be submitted in writing or by email by then.
The agenda covers the Chairman's report and financial report, adoption of the accounts, election of the President, and election of the Executive Officers. The full notice and agenda are available from the Club Secretary.
If you are a playing member and you want a say in how the Club is run, this is the meeting where that happens. Please come.
