Black belt success at UTA Chester Taekwondo.

Hugely proud to announce we have a new shiny black belt in our ranks.

Last weekend at a hugely successful blackbelt grading. Miss Ada performed superbly and with that performance, earned her prestigious Blackbelt after years of hard work and perseverance.

Please join me in congratulating Ada on this huge achievement.

UTA Chester the Home of champions 🥋🏆

It’s been a busy few weeks for us here. Massive well done to our recent competitors at the Deeside competition. We have a new British champion on our hands with young Alice picking up Gold in sparring and bronze in patterns.

Would personally like to Master Saunders for putting everyone through their paces tonight. Was brilliant to have him in attendance so thank you sir.

Was a really great evening all round.

LOOKING FOR SOME LOVELY HUMANS 🧘‍♀️

Right… deep breath… I’m officially putting on my big girl pants 🩲 and stepping out of my comfort zone 😳

I’m running my very first yoga class as practice for my yoga teacher assessment at the end of Feb / early March and I need a few friendly faces to come along and be my guinea pigs

✨ Beginner friendly
✨ Never done yoga? PERFECT.
✨ Done loads of yoga? Also PERFECT.
✨ Want 45 minutes to breathe, move gently and switch your brain off? Say no more.

Honestly, having complete beginners would actually help me loads, but if you’re a seasoned pro who just fancies a supportive stretch and a lovely meditation at the end, you’re very welcome too.

Please don’t expect greatness from me 😅
This is a practice class, I’m learning, I may wobble, forget what comes next, or say left when I mean right… so kindness is required and massively appreciated 🫶

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 (𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽), friendly, well run, and very supportive, while still offering a great challenge for more experienced competitors too.

There is chance to enter patterns, sparring and speeding kicking for Juniors and tag team sparring for adults, as well breaking (black belt adults only)

Whether it’s your first competition or your tenth, the British Championships are a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself and grow.
