Warriors are on the road this weekend with our annual trip up to Scotland!
First up, our Men’s team face Edinburgh Kelpies. In last years National League both legs were a close match with Warriors missing out on the win.
Home 29 - 30
Away 35 - 37
With both teams taking the break since Nationals to train and develop it’s going to be an interesting fixture!
Tomorrow Mixed face Highland Fever. After last week’s game where we took awhile to settle, changes saw us come back fighting to take the lead, but we were disappointed to just get pipped at 35 - 38.

What a game to open our Mixed home campaign! WCW Mixed welcomed a strong Leeds Fury side to the court.
We started slow and it took us a while to settle into the game, but this team didn’t panic. Small adjustments to our combinations began to turn the tide, and we put into practice exactly what we’d been working on in training. The Warriors dug deep, held their nerve, and fought their way into the lead. 🙌
But Fury, just when it mattered most, made a final push in the last couple of minutes to edge it out and take the win.
The result didn’t go our way, but so much to be proud of from this group. The character, the fight, and the growth shown is exactly what this club is built on. We’ll take the lessons and come back stronger. 💪🔥

WCW men’s travelled up to Leeds to face our good friends Northern Titans. We took the first Q to settle in to national league, however once we found our flow we kept the quarter scores extremely close.
Unfortunately we gave ourselves too big of a deficit to fully close in the 60, but looking forward to the return leg.
A solid defensive performance earned Ryan OPOM and Warrior.
CPOM went to Max who was an accurate target under the post

WCW took on Warrington in Cheshire Elite. Warrington had a bigger squad full of young faces.
Instruction from the bench was play smart, slow the game down and play with purpose.
The instructions were taken on board and we led from the first whistle. Standing up to physicality and playing our own game.
Clever rotations of our 8, saw us maintain a lead and win. Every Warrior did their job and stood up.

Today we faced Dominoes Netball Club, we had high expectations of ourselves and aimed to put out a whole 60 minute performance.
Working hard in both attack and defence we took a strong lead. Building on training and putting it into practice on court we worked hard and pushed forward.
Fresh legs and seamless changes saw our boys maintain the lead from the start to secure another victory in the EMMNA league
