⚫️⚪️UNDER 21⚫️⚪️
West Bridgeford U21 - 1
Glapwell FC U21 - 2
A fantastic win for our Under 21s on Thursday night as they travelled to Nottingham to take on West Bridgford.
Glappy fell behind in the 10th minute, but gradually started to grow into the game and got themselves level on 32 minutes. Skipper Tom Evans rose highest to meet a Kye Collins corner and headed home to make it 1–1.
Just five minutes later, Glapwell completed the turnaround when Jake Elliott produced a lovely free-kick to put us 2–1 ahead going into the break.
West Bridgford stepped things up in the second half, but the Glapwell back line stood firm and defended superbly. The home side’s hopes of a comeback suffered another setback just before the hour mark when their goalscorer was shown a second yellow card and sent off.
Glappy continued to manage the game well right through to the final whistle, securing a brilliant 2–1 away win and all three points.
⚽ Goals: Tom Evans, Jake Elliott
