What a year it's been at our Advanced Technical Centres! Week after week, our players have challenged themselves, refined their technical ability and continued to grow in a high performance training environment.

⚽ What an incredible 12 weeks! 💙

Derbyshire Young Minds Initiative Pop-Up Football Programme at Sawley Community Hall is complete, proudly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Over the past 12 weeks, we've welcomed children from confidently walking up to 4 years old, providing fun, engaging football and active play sessions designed to support early physical development, build confidence and coordination, and create a safe, welcoming space for parents and carers to connect.

It has been amazing to watch the children grow in confidence, develop their football skills, make new friends and most importantly, have fun. We've loved seeing so many smiling faces each week and watching every child progress throughout the programme.

To celebrate completing the course, every child received a medal, certificate and football to recognise their fantastic achievements over the last 12 weeks.

A huge thank you to all of the families who joined us each week and to the National Lottery Community Fund for making this project possible. Your support has enabled us to provide an affordable, inclusive programme that has helped young children take their first steps into sport while creating opportunities for families to come together within their local community.

📢 But this is just the beginning!

We're delighted to announce that the Derbyshire Young Minds Initiative Pop-Up Football Programme will be returning in September at a brand new location!
