St. Sebastians again played host to the Fairplay group who all enjoyed a sunny afternoon of archery.

A big shout out to the Fairplay case workers, club coaches and members who make everything such a success.

We're all looking forward to seeing the guys again at the field.

A little bit of rain didn't spoil the day as our summer beginners completed their course. All did really well and hopefully this is the start of their archery journey. They even had a chance to have a go with some traditional longbows and American flatbows.

A big shout out again to the coaches and members who go out of their way and make it all possible AND NOT FORGETTING THE FUN!

A big well done to our Summer beginners who all did really well in getting into archery. We're looking forward to seeing them all again tomorrow.

🏹 Archery GB JNOC celebrations! 🏹

Last weekend saw our junior archers, Grace, Jenson and Isobel travel down to Lilleshall for the Junior National Outdoor Championships, a highlight in the junior competitive calendar!

Saturdays competition was a metric shoot, followed by an imperial shoot on Sunday. Both days were challenging but lots of fun!

Grace (U12 Recurve) shot both days for the first time this year, placing in 1st position in Saturdays Metric and bringing home the gold as National Champ! Sunday was a challenge but Grace kept her focus and placed in 2nd position, reaching the podium for the second time over the weekend.

Jenson (U12 Recurve) took part in Sundays competition, his first time at JNOC and at only 8yrs old it was an incredible experience for him to shoot with boys a lot older and the best in the country. He finished in 6th position and a new PB!

Isobel (U14 Recurve) scored awesome rounds in her category, and placed 14th (Sat) and 11th (Sun)! Brilliant places in a tough category!

Congratulations! You have all trained hard for this weekend and we are very proud of you!

Another great day to enjoy a couple of hours of archery as our summer tasters had fun in the sun. As well as having a fun afternoon's archery, they were the first visitors to enjoy our new facilities.

Here's hoping we see them all again soon and a big thanks to our members and coaches who make everything go so smoothly.

🎯🏆 Huge congratulations to two of our junior archers on becoming East Midlands Regional Champions!

Last weekend they were put to the test in very hot conditions. Their hard work and dedication paid off, both setting new personal bests and bringing home the gold medals in the U12 Women's and Men's recurve. Grace even managed her first GMB score. We're incredibly proud of both of you—well done! 👏🏹
