What a month August has been!

I feel incredibly lucky to have had my parents visit all the way from South Africa. ❤️ It was so special to spend time together and show them some of the beautiful places the UK has to offer.

We also celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday in Greece 🇬🇷☀️ — creating some very special memories along the way.

My cup is definitely feeling very full!

But as wonderful as the break has been, I’m now so excited to get back to Mini Athletics! I’ve really missed seeing all those happy, smiling faces and watching our little athletes have fun, learn new skills and grow in confidence.

🚀 Why do we do our “Blast Offs” at every Mini Athletics session?

Those big squat jumps are more than just a fun way to get the session started! 🌟

Squat jumps help children develop leg strength, balance, body control and co-ordination, while practising how to bend, push, jump and land safely.

And the best bit? They’re having so much fun, they don’t even realise they’re learning! 🤩

Every “Blast Off” is helping our Mini Athletes build the fundamental movement skills they need to run, jump, play and move with confidence. 💪🚀
