Job Vacancy | Receptionist (Casual) | Clay Cross Active

We're looking for a new casual Receptionist based at Clay Cross Active - the hours of work in this post will include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.

This is a key post that interacts with all our customers visiting the centre. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake front of house duties such as operating a booking system, dealing with admission tickets and enquiries together with processing payments.

- Salary/Grade: Grade 4 / £13.48 to £13.92 per hour

- Hours: As and when required

- Closing Date: 11 October 2026

New Forever Active Session on Tuesday's at Clay Cross Active!

Looking for a fun, friendly way to stay active and meet new people?

Join our new Forever Active session every Tuesday from 10.15am to 11.15am in the Sports Hall. Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to keep moving, this social session is all about enjoying activity at your own pace. Our Sports Coaches Lauren and Zoe will be supporting the session each week.

Activities include:
Table Tennis
Badminton
New Age Kurling

It's a great opportunity to stay active, have some fun, and enjoy a chat with others in a welcoming environment.

Tuesdays | 10.15am - 11.15am
Sports Hall, Clay Cross Active
Just £2.65 per person

No need to be an expert, just come along and get involved!

Walking Football combines gentle exercise, teamwork and plenty of laughs in one friendly weekly session.

Every Tuesday 9.00am to 10.00am - Just £4.15 per session

Nice & Easy Swim at Clay Cross Active

Looking for a more relaxed way to enjoy the pool?

Join us today from 5.00pm to 6.30pm for our Nice & Easy Swim. With no lane swimming, reduced numbers and a calm, relaxed atmosphere, it's the perfect opportunity to enjoy the water at your own pace.

Whether you'd like to catch up with a friend, meet new people or simply enjoy a quieter swim, this adults-only session offers a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone.

The session is free for Direct Debit members with swimming included in their membership, included for those on our Super Saver Membership. Pay As You Go and concessionary rates are also available.
