And the final piece of the GBR puzzle , our current National and WORLD CHAMPIONS Andy Shaw & Rob Struckett 🥇!!! The team have been on fire ever since the last worlds and are looking to make it the treble this year having already taken the headline events of the Gallon and POW (UK nationals) this year!

🤩 favourite memory was on the last run to the finish heading toward their first worlds race win, fell in to windward with both of them swimming 6ft from the boat, somehow managed to swing back on board and hold to take the gun

A new pairing sees James pick up a new crew for the striking ‘Pamela’, in George who brings a raft of 49er experience to the front. These two came fresh in to POW and got faster and faster.

🤩 James battled round a windy Weymouth to earn a replica in the POW, whilst George has already tasted early success with a race win in the Bull Trophy earlier this year

Team 3/5 is our noisy Northerners Adam Ovi & Stuart Keegan , thought to be angry but then as they draw closer it’s all whooping and hollering, getting ready to take on the Canadian waters!

Next up we have our multiple National and European Champions, Glen has won the Worlds but even though he and Ed have been unstoppable at times this is the Grand Slam Ed needs to complete the set! Always smooth, always fast, could this be the one!

🤩 Tynemouth POW started in 5 knots finished in 25 with some good ol’ North Sea rollers. A true POW epic!

5 top crews have their boats in the container and will be heading to Kingston, Canada this month for the i14 Worlds! So to make sure you know who to cheer on, we have pulled together a little series of the crews……starting with:

🤩 favourite memory is blasting round Garda at the last worlds and having a capsize free race for the first time!

🚨 100 Years of the Prince of Wales Cup 🚨

In just 52 weeks, the International 14 fleet heads to Itchenor SC to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first Prince of Wales Cup as part of the 2027 European Championships.

To mark the occasion, the class will support up to three youth teams with boats for the 2027 season, plus free PoW entry. Applications will open soon for sailors under 30 (or teams under 55 combined).

Whether you’re coming from the 29er, 49er or another class, this is your chance to race one of sailing’s most exciting development classes in a landmark year.
