🌡️ Too hot to ride? Not too hot to improve!
With the heatwave making riding conditions a welfare concern for both horses and riders, we’ve been using our sessions to focus on the skills that often get overlooked but make a huge difference in the saddle.
From balance and coordination exercises to rider fitness, posture and body awareness, we’ve been building the foundations that create stronger, more effective riders, all in the shade of the indoor stable block. Alongside this, we’ve continued to enjoy hands-on horse time, giving riders the opportunity to develop their horsemanship, handling skills and connection with the horses.
The best riders aren’t made only by the hours they spend riding; they’re made by understanding how their bodies work and how they communicate with their horse.
Every session is an opportunity to learn, grow and develop. Sometimes progress happens in the saddle, and sometimes it happens beside it. When we’re back riding, all of this hard work will come with us. 🐴✨

This morning our horses and ponies enjoyed a sloppy mash, it may not look very appealing but they LOVE it!
This drink is full of electrolytes to help them rehydrate, fibre to help digestion and vitamins and minerals to support their immune system and muscle function.
