Captain! 👨‍✈️

Meet Captain, a registered Irish Draught gelding standing at 16.3hh! 🍂

Captain arrived with his mate Magnus 🤍, who we’ll be sharing with you very soon 👀

He’s progressing really well with his training and is getting ready to join the riding school, as well as find a lucky person to go out on loan to 💚

Captain is a gentle giant with a forward-going nature who’s great fun to ride and he absolutely loves his jumping!

We can’t wait for you all to meet him, we think he looks like a mixture of Boots and Harry just bigger!

From watching his daughter ride to getting back in the saddle himself…

After a 20-year break from riding, Charles never expected to rediscover his passion for horses — but one day, while walking the dogs, he spotted Lavant Equestrian and decided to book a trial lesson.

Two years on, he’s riding every week, has completed a dressage test and discovered just how much riding can bring to your life.

Read Charles’ story and find out why he believes it’s never too late to get back in the saddle. 🐴
