🚨 YOUR 2027 RUNNING CALENDAR STARTS HERE! 🚨

We've been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready, and we're delighted to announce that the i-Compete 2027 running event calendar is HERE! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

No matter what distance you're looking to tackle, we've got you covered! From the Chippenham Spring 10 Mile and our super-fast Lightning Bolt 10k series to the Westonbirt Easter 10k and Half Marathon, there's plenty to get excited about!

🎄❄️ YOU LOVED THE MEDAL… SO WE’VE GONE ONE BETTER! ❄️🎄

Well, you guys definitely seem to love the medal we've created for the SOLD OUT Westonbirt House Christmas 10K on Sunday 13th December! 🏅🎅

But it got us thinking… where's the best place to have your photo taken with your awesome snow globe medal? 🤔

Well, the answer was obvious, wasn't it?! INSIDE A GIANT INFLATABLE SNOW GLOBE! ☃️❄️

So guess what? We've only gone and hired one for the day! 🙌🎄

Imagine stepping inside, medal in hand, surrounded by a magical winter wonderland… now THAT'S a finish-line photo to remember! 📸✨

🏆 SOUTH WEST CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS — 2026 RESULTS! ⚡️

Sunday saw the final Lightning Bolt 10k of 2026, which also hosted the South West Club Championships! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

A fantastic field turned out to battle it out for the fastest male team, fastest female team and best mixed team — with those all-important bragging rights for the next 12 months!

The results have now been collated and verified, and we're delighted to announce this year's champions and podium finishers. 👏

🥇 MIXED TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
(3 male and 3 female athletes, scored on category positions)

🥇 1st — Team Bath Athletic Club | 36 points
🥈 2nd — Running Somewhere Else | 39 points
🥉 3rd — Taunton Athletics Club | 41 points

A massive congratulations to all our winning clubs and everyone who took part in this year's championships! 🙌

⚡️ THE LIGHTNING BOLT RETURNS IN 2027!

We'll be back with another five-race series, once again culminating in the South West Club Championships at our October event.
