Thank you for your messages. I can confirm we have No affiliations with any "Cotswold wellness coaches" around Cirencester. Your messages have confirmed there is an element of confusion being raised between businesses & whilst I'm sure the one you all keep mentioning hasn't copied our style, wording or ideas on purpose, we will still be requesting they cease using any misleading marketing immediately before potentially proceeding to take legal actions.

We may not be open yet but we have invested alot in our ideas etc to simply allow others to come & use them for themselves.

So I guess we can tell you that we have added Badass Mamas Fitness to our timetable ready for when we open 🥳

This class will replace Dance2fit.

The choreography is on point 👌 Easy to follow, still has lots of b***y shaking, still contains your favourite R&B/Hip Hop tunes but most importantly still demonstrates our Have Fun & No judgement ethos.

🌿🩷 HUB UPDATE 🩷🌿

I know updates have been few and far between, and unfortunately I’m still in the position of having very little new information to give you.

We have now been waiting since February for the keys so we can finally get into the hub, start the refit and work towards opening.

The latest asbestos survey was completed on 1st September, and I was told I should have an update from the Council last Monday. That update still hasn’t come.

I won’t pretend this isn’t becoming incredibly frustrating. I’ve continued to chase, but it’s very difficult to plan, organise contractors or give you any meaningful opening date when we still don’t know when we’ll actually be allowed into the building.

There is so much happening behind the scenes and we are completely ready to get stuck in. What we need now is the Council to give us some answers — and, ultimately, the keys.

I also don’t want to keep giving you estimated opening dates and then disappointing everyone when circumstances completely outside our control push them back again. As soon as I have something concrete, you’ll hear it from me.

Thank you for continuing to stick with us. I know how much people want to see the hub open, and believe me, nobody is more desperate to get through those doors and get started than we are.

Hopefully my next update will finally be the one we’ve all been waiting for. 🌿🩷

Just putting it out there — imitation is the highest form of flattery. However, Cotswold Wellness® is a registered trademark.

I’m seeing an alarming number of local rebrands using our name, as well as our “Move Well • Live Well” ethos and very similar wording in their marketing.

We’ve spent over a year building Cotswold Wellness, developing our identity, reputation and community. That takes a huge amount of time, energy and investment, and our branding is not there to be copied or repackaged by other businesses.

To be clear: inspiration is one thing. Using another established business’s protected name, branding or materials in a way that could cause confusion is another.

We genuinely want to see other local wellness businesses succeed, and there is plenty of room for all of us — but please build your own identity rather than borrowing ours.

If you are currently using Cotswold Wellness within your business name, branding or marketing, please review this and make the necessary changes.

We would much rather resolve matters professionally and amicably than have to take them further.

Be inspired. Be original. Build something that is yours.

Little update - The premises still aren't ready for us to move in to start our refit. Truthfully we are not confident giving an official opening date yet as we have already been forced to reschedule twice & we aren't in control of any of the works being carried out prior to us taking occupancy.

We are taking this further delay as a blessing in disguise as you may all know our daughter has made an early appearance & I am now preoccupied with taking care of our children & recovering from a cesarean. We are also moving home in the not too distant future having recently sold our house.

Knowing our lives & new routines will need time to settle before starting our works means we can focus solely on the refit without any other distractions causing any further delays on our end when the time comes.

We will as always keep you up to date as & when we learn of any new information regarding our opening & thank you all for remaining patient with us so far.

We are going to get out to Puzzlewood today.

We will have a rest tomorrow as we have a second time house viewing 🤞

Then we'll pop over to Weston-super-Mare Friday/Saturday.

You all made amazing suggestions & it became clear we actually do quite alot already, our kids are very lucky.

It made me think about the kids who don't get to go out as much.

I'd like to pay towards a day out for one of our local families who may be struggling.

I'd like to give £150 to a family who deserves a little help.
