TASTER SESSION, NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!

Looking for a sport that builds confidence, friendships, fitness and teamwork?
Our Girls section are looking for new players to join the team at Cleckheaton Rugby Club. 🔴⚪

Whether your daughter already loves rugby or has never picked up a rugby ball before, they’re welcome to come along, meet the team and give it a try.

⚪️🔴 NEW SIGNING | ANDREW ESMOND ⚪️🔴

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Andrew “Ezzy” Esmond, who joins Cleckheaton RUFC from Brighouse Rangers Rugby League! 🏉💪

Andrew arrives with plenty of experience and a proven track record in the local rugby league scene. A powerful and committed centre, Ezzy was a standout performer for Brighouse Rangers, including being named their Man of the Match in the 2025 BARLA National Cup Final. 👏

His physicality, defensive strength and attacking threat will add another exciting dimension to our squad as he makes the switch from league to union.

We’re looking forward to seeing what Ezzy can bring to the red and white as we head into the new season. ⚪️🔴
