Can anyone guess what Lynette did wrong today? Bonus if you can guess how long it took for her to realise her error? 🤣

Tamlaght Equestrian Care
Professional saddle fitting for horse & rider

27/09/2026

The Saddle we posted last week with the folds in the twist lives to ride again!

The tree was sound despite the folds in the seat and the odd squeaky noise when tested.

However it did win the oddest find award!

This little plastic card was hitching a ride?

Now your guess is as good as mine as to how this incognito card found its way inside the saddle!!

Was it a calling card for the original saddler?
Did the saddle have a memorable weekend away and keep the room card as a souvenir??

Tell me your thoughts? And saddlers...... what's the weirdest thing you've found inside a saddle?

Leaving a saddle in storage? Think about how those panels will be when you want to use it again.

This saddle was on a metal saddle stand for years, pulled out to be fitted to a gorgeous new horse but the panels were tough, indented and filling them full of flock would only have over flocked them.

Instead the panels have been heated and the flock given a little fluff as it was actually fully reflocked prior to being popped away.

Now its ready to be fitted to the new boy. 🤩😍

The next generation have already moved in!

Spying on my 12 year old making hot chocolates on the coffee machine for all her friends when the saddlery is closed.

Anyone who's been in store this last 2 days will know how much Emily loves making the coffees. Whether you wanted one or not 🤣🤣
