🏁 JUNIOR SERIES – ROUND 4 🏁

This Friday we were back on track after a short break for Round 4 of our Junior Series!

As always, it was a brilliant night of racing, and we really appreciate the effort everyone made to get here. With the road closure still in place, getting to the start line was a little more challenging than usual! 🚧😂

The racing was fantastic, but one of the best parts of the night was seeing what a great group of kids we have.

After the finals, they were congratulating each other with handshakes all round. 👏 That kind of sportsmanship is absolutely brilliant to see and is exactly what junior racing should be about. 🏆

🌟 **DRIVER OF THE WEEK – OSCAR HORSFALL**🌟

Oscar earned Driver of the Week for his **great marshalling, trying hard in every race and keeping his car in one piece!** 😄👏

Well done, Oscar!

🏁 CLASSIC SPORTS – ROUND 7 🏁

MIND THE GAPS! WHAT GAPS?! 🤯

What a night of racing!

🔥 Leighton was simply untouchable, dominating the heats before disappearing into the distance in the A Final and lapping the entire field!

But behind him… Rob & Nick produced an absolute thriller!

After running side-by-side for much of the closing stages, it all came down to the line…

🥈 ROB BEAT NICK BY JUST 0.007 SECONDS! 😱
Seven thousandths after 25 laps!

The other finals were just as close:

🏆 C Final – Jim takes the win, with all four drivers finishing within just FIVE seconds!

🏆 B Final – Jon holds off a flying Jeff by only 0.8 seconds!

And most importantly, some great news about Cashy❤️

After nearly four weeks in hospital, the infection has gone and he's made a significant improvement. There's still a way to go, but things are moving in the right direction.

Keep fighting, Cashy! We can't wait to have you back trackside. 💪

🚧 EMERGENCY ROADWORKS – COTTON TREE LANE, TRAWDEN 🚧

⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL RACERS & VISITORS ⚠️

Unfortunately, we were notified yesterday evening (08/09/2026) that United Utilities need to carry out essential emergency repairs to a damaged sewer pipe on Cotton Tree Lane, Trawden.

The works will affect access to Northern Raceway for the following race nights:

🏁 Junior Racing – Friday 11th September
🏁 Tuesday Night Racing – 15th September
🏁 GT3 Enduro Racing – Friday 18th September

📅 Works commence: Thursday 10th September
📅 Expected completion: Friday 18th September

🚧 Cotton Tree Lane will be CLOSED to through traffic for the duration of the works.

➡️ A signed diversion route will be in place throughout the closure. Unfortunately, this means taking around a 4.5-mile scenic diversion through the country lanes of Colne and Trawden to reach us.

🚗 PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Please follow the official diversion signs and take extra care on the surrounding roads, as some of the country lanes aren't ideal for the additional amount of traffic they're likely to see during the closure.

We know this is far from ideal and completely out of our control, but ALL OF OUR RACE MEETINGS ARE STILL GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED! 🏁

We'd really appreciate everyone making the extra effort to get to us and continuing to support Northern Raceway over the next couple of weeks. ❤️

🏁 GROUP C – ROUND 8 | TIME TO MAKE YOUR MOVE! 🏁

What a night of racing! 🔥

12 racers, three groups and some of the closest racing we’ve seen all season.

The big battle came from Adam, Nick and Leighton, who went into the final heat separated by just 0.2 of a lap! 😲

After plenty of drama, contact and a four-minute chase to the finish, just 1.2 seconds separated all three at the flag!

🏆 Adam – 175.517 laps
🥈 Nick – 175.463 laps
🥉 Leighton – 175.308 laps

Adam also set the fastest lap of the night with a 7.913 and held his nerve brilliantly to take the Round 8 victory. 👏

Elsewhere, Harry and Jon provided some side-by-side absolute chaos 😂, Rob took advantage with another strong night, and there was great racing throughout the field.

With just TWO rounds remaining in the 2026 Group C Championship, it really is time to make your move! 👀🏆
