Sunicha Beau Ty set off on her Journey this morning at 6.50am from Malham. She has smashed the half way point where we met her at Linton and walked a couple of miles with her. She should be about 16/17 miles in of the 26 now and aiming to fin8sh for 6/7pm.

SUNICHAS words.

This July, I’m turning 40, and I wanted to mark the occasion by doing something truly meaningful and memorable.

On 27th June, I’ll be doing a SOLO hike!
I’m taking part of the Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike — a full marathon distance of 26.2 miles — walking an incredible route from Malham to Kilnsey, Hebden, Linton, Rylstone, and back to Malham again. It’s going to be a huge challenge, but I’ll be pushing myself every step of the way to raise £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Last year, I completed The Great Pendleside Trek and proudly raised £315 for Pendleside Hospice, so this year I’m hoping to go even further and make an even bigger difference.

Every donation, big or small, will help Macmillan continue supporting people living with cancer and their families, because no one should have to face cancer alone.

If you’re able to support Sunicha, she would be incredibly grateful, and it would mean so much in helping her reach her fundraising goal.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support. 💚

Junior Series 1 Ends with a Championship Thriller!

What a way to finish the season!

The final round of Junior Series 1 had everything, with the championship still up for grabs after an incredible season of close racing, Matthew took a good points finish in the final round which he did and was crowned the Junior Series 1 champion with 248 points, edging out Emily by the slimmest possible margin – just ONE point between them. Unfortunatly Emily couldn’t make the last round but we do allow racers to drop 2 scores for this reason.

The battle wasn't just at the front either. Stanley claimed third ahead of brother Thomas, while Jack Hobman completed the top five after a season packed with overtaking, wheel-to-wheel action, and plenty of crashes unforgettable moments.
That's what makes our Junior Series so special!

Think you or your child could be our next champion? The new Junior Series starts this July, and we'd love to welcome new drivers to the grid. Whether you're completely new to racing or looking for a fun, competitive championship, there's never been a better time to get involved.

Join us this July and be part of the action – because next season's title fight could have your name on it!

DTM Saloons Round 5 Race Report

Round 5 produced some great racing, with close battles throughout the field and another strong performance from Jeff, who claimed victory in the heats and set the fastest lap of the night.

The finals delivered plenty of action.

C Final
Jon took the win, with Rob securing a strong second place. Phil and Simon rounded out the field in third and fourth respectively.

With their performances, Jon and Rob moved up to the B Final, joining Adam and Cashy.

B Final
Jon led the opening three laps, but it was Cashy who moved into first place on lap four. Adam was charging hard after an early mistake dropped him to the back of the field. He fought his way back to second place but ran out of laps before he could challenge for the lead.

Cashy’s victory earned him a place in the A Final alongside Nick, Leighton and Jeff.

A Final
Leighton made a strong start and led the way, while Jeff dropped to the back of the field on the opening lap after a crash. Nick held second place with Cashy in third, but Cashy soon moved past Nick to take second.

Jeff was charging through the field and passed Nick on lap five before another mistake dropped him back again. Undeterred, he recovered once more and reclaimed third place on lap nine. Continuing his charge, he began closing the gap to the leaders, who were now battling for the lead themselves.

With six laps remaining, Cashy made a mistake that allowed both Jeff and Nick through into second and third places. Cashy eventually finished fourth after an impressive showing, while Leighton held on to take the victory.

It was a fantastic race with several position changes and plenty of exciting battles throughout.

The series now heads into a short summer break before returning in August. With new tyre regulations set to be introduced for the remaining rounds, we should see the pace increase slightly as drivers adapt to the new rubber. The changes promise to add another exciting dimension to the championship as the fight for honours enters its final stages.

Formula 1 '80s 🏁

Only eight drivers this week, but the racing was as close as ever!

Leighton fought back after the heats to take the overall win from Nick, while Andrew, Rob and Jon were locked in a great battle throughout the evening.

The B Final produced the race of the night, with Andrew taking the win and Rob snatching the final A Final spot from Jon in the closing laps, with just 1.5 seconds covering the top three.

In the A Final, an early mistake from Nick handed Leighton the lead. Nick charged back to second, but Leighton controlled the gap perfectly to take victory by just 1.5 seconds. Behind them, Andrew held off Rob in another close battle for third.

Next week we're back with the always ultra-competitive DTM Touring Cars. See you all then! 🚗💨

Juniors Round 8.

After Round 8 last Friday, the Junior Series 1 championship is very much alive with just two rounds remaining.

Emily still leads the standings on 220 points, but her advantage has been reduced to just 10 points as Matthew has been in excellent form, scoring maximum points in both Races 7 and 8, and is now within striking distance of the title. Stanley remains in contention, 30 points behind, but will need two exceptional rounds and help from the drivers ahead.

With Rounds 9 and 10 still to come, every race result could prove decisive. A single win is worth 40 points, meaning the championship battle between Emily and Matthew is far from settled.

Two rounds. Ten points. One title!

The fight for Junior Series 1 honours is set for a thrilling finish. 🏁🏆
