Congleton Golf Club
Annual Club Dinner

Thank you to our Club Captains Graham Podmore and Sue Bailey for arranging and hosting this year's annual Club Dinner on Saturday 24 October and to everyone who attended, including the new Astbury Captains, on the night to support. Graham and Sue also took the opportunity to celebrate CGC's 128th Birthday on the night.

The night included surprise singing waiters, Luke & Lesley, ice breaker quizzes and a wonderful three course meal.

Captain Poddy said:
I’d like to thank everyone for a great night, especially Roy Yates who just stole the show. In support of the Joshua Tree, we arranged a unique hole in one challenge, which was won by Andy Boughey, whom with his golfing skills, made a hole in one from the balcony to the putting green.
A great night at the club making a fun Club dinner.

A final thank you to Jill and the bar & catering team for looking after everyone so well throughout the evening.
