A huge well done to Alex, who was chosen by her teammates as our Players’ Player of the Match for our game against Dunipace! 👏⚽

Alex’s leadership of the back line was superb. Her constant communication kept the back line and midfield working extremely well together. She was confident on the ball, defended brilliantly, and her encouragement of the team throughout the match was exemplary.

Since joining us, Alex has always played with a smile on her face, and her enthusiasm is truly infectious. Her positive attitude, commitment and leadership make her a fantastic asset to the team.

🧤 PLAYERS’ PLAYER OF THE MATCH – SOPHIE D! 🧤

A huge WELL DONE to Sophie , who was voted Players’ Player of the Match by her teammates after Sunday’s game! 👏❤️

Sophie was outstanding from start to finish, showing composure, bravery and fantastic communication throughout the match. 🗣️💪

Her constant communication with the backline helped keep the team organised and structured, while she showed incredible bravery coming off her line to face a number of 1v1s against a strong Rossvale attack. 🧤🔥

It was a busy afternoon for our young keeper, but Sophie stood up to the challenge with some excellent saves throughout the game.
She was also incredibly unlucky with the penalty in the dying minutes of the game— guessing the correct way and getting a hand to it, but unfortunately the power was enough to get it into the net. 👏🧤

💥 An excellent performance from a fantastic young goalkeeper!
Performances like this are exactly what our club is about, developing, supporting and bringing through our young players. ❤️⚽️

👏 Well done to Geo, who received the recognition of Players’ Player of the Match from her teammates for Sundays game away to Renfrew — thoroughly deserved.

Although the result wasn’t what we would have hoped for, as a development team we set ourselves targets, identify what went well and what didn’t, and then use that to move forward and improve. We develop.

Geo started the game on the wing, doing her fair share of defending while always making herself available as an option for a pass. Her movement and work rate created several opportunities from the wide area.

In the second half, she moved into a more forward role and went on to bag herself a hat-trick! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Great communication, attitude and work ethic throughout the game made Geo a very worthy choice for the Players’ Player award, as recognised by her teammates.

👏 Well deserved, Geo! Keep developing and keep working hard! 💪⚽️
