The opening race of the final Showdown weekend threw everything at the grid as the rain arrived, making for a dramatic and unpredictable battle on the circuit.

Lee Jackson rode a remarkably clever and steady race in the tricky conditions, managing his pace perfectly to cross the line with a solid P10 finish.

Josh Brookes put in a gritty shift from deep on the grid, fighting his way through the spray and heavy traffic to secure P15.
