A little apology from me! 🙈 I’m only human and unfortunately make silly mistakes occasionally! 🤦♀️
I’ve tried to fit the dates around periods with very little racing, which is becoming more and more of a challenge these days! 🏇
The correct dates for Malton and the North are now shown. ✅
Really looking forward to seeing some of you there. Bookings are already coming in, so don’t delay — get your place booked! 🐴📚
Thanks for your understanding and see you there!

Don’t write it off as “just old age” 🐴
Did you miss todays webinar, Part 1 of our webinar series? You can still sign up by messaging Sam or contacting [email protected].
One of the key messages is that 15 years old doesn’t automatically mean a horse is “old.” Horses younger than 15 can also fall into this category if they have worked hard, had a demanding career, or struggled with their health.
And perhaps one of the biggest myths we need to challenge is:
“They’re just getting old.”
Old age shouldn’t be used as an excuse for:
❌ Pain or discomfort
❌ Unexplained weight loss
❌ Changes in behaviour
❌ Changes in movement or performance
❌ Becoming reluctant, withdrawn or “not themselves”
These changes can be signs that something needs investigating — not simply something we should accept because a horse has reached a certain age.
If you missed Part 1, there’s still time to join this two-part series. Message Sam or email [email protected] to find out more and sign up.
🐴 Don’t just put it down to age. Ask why.
