🏃‍♀️Our Free couch to 5k is coming back 🏃‍♂️

Just 4 weeks to go to the start of our Couch to 5k course on Monday 14th September. We've had over 350 people complete the course in recent years, so come along and begin your running journey with us. It'll be supportive, safe, fun, and free.
Just come along on Monday 14th at 5.45pm and we'll register everyone, ready to start at 6pm.

Despite the very dry conditions we’ve had recently, Wheatley Hills seniors took a squad down to Derbyshire for their 1st pre season friendly, to take on Leesbrook RUFC and came away with a 69-19 win

🚨🚨COACHING AND PHYSIO APPOINTMENTS🚨🚨🚨

Wheatley Hills RUFC would like to welcome our new coaching staff of Head Coach Craig Fawcett and Forwards Coach Andy Lund who have both recently enjoyed success coaching Pontefract RUFC taking them into the North East divisions.
Having both played good levels of rugby in both codes collectively they bring a vast bank of knowledge and experience to the Club.
Both coaches are excited about the prospect of taking recently promoted Wheatley Hills RUFC into their new campaign in Counties Two Yorkshire and the challenges that it may bring.
Craig stated that the team has a good foundation and that it should only take a few tweaks here and there to be match ready for the coming season.

Along with the coaching staff we would also like to welcome our newly appointed Physio Gabbi Storey, having worked at several major Rugby Union and Rugby League clubs Gabbi brings a wealth of experience with her.
We also welcome the appointment of Dave Chadwick who joins as Second XV physio.

The Committee and all of our members would like to wish everyone the very best for this season and the exiting times ahead.

Nice to see some of the seniors taking time before training to help some of our younger age groups.

Wheatley Hills colts are fundraising for their Canada tour and could do with your help.

One of the colts dads, Shane Pinkney, has 3 tickets for England vs New Zealand on 21st November that you could win.

These tickets come as a package so would come as a great family day out, or take you and 2 mates for a day of rugby
