🏉 SUNDAY ROUND-UP | WHEATLEY HILLS JUNIORS
A mixed bag of results this Sunday, but plenty of positives to take away!
🏉 U11s vs Wath
A dominant display from our U11s in their first game of the season, with plenty of tries scored and a clean sheet!
Huge credit to Wath, who never gave up and showed fantastic resilience, battling right until the final whistle. A great example of grassroots rugby!
👏 Well done to Finlay, who bagged Player of the Match, and Jenson, who picked up the TREDS Award!
🏉 U15s & Thorne vs Old Rish
A tough day against a very physical, strong and dominant Old Rish side.
Plenty to work on and lessons to take away. The lads will regroup, keep working hard and build on today’s experience.
🏉 U17 Colts vs Hornsea
Another strong win for our Colts!
A great all-round performance, showing the strength and depth of this squad. The lads continue to come together as a team, with contributions right across the pitch!
🏉 U7s, U8s, U9s & U10s
Our younger age groups have been working hard in training, getting ready for their matches next weekend! It’s great to see their confidence, skills and teamwork developing each week.
👏 A big thank you to all our coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters, and to our opposition for today’s fixtures!
NEXT SUNDAY – ALL ROADS LEAD TO BRUNEL ROAD!
We’ve got U7s right through to U15s ALL playing at home!
It’s not often we have so many junior teams playing on the same day, so let’s get the club buzzing!
Come down, grab a breakfast sandwich, enjoy some grassroots rugby and get behind our young players
