Three things you need to know about ASHTANGA YOGA 👉🏼
Ashtanga is a set sequence of yoga asana (postures), breath (ujjayi breath), bandhas (body locks) and drishti (fixed gazing point). You practice the exact same sequence of poses in the same order every single session.🧘🏼♀️
The practice helps to build strength, flexibility, and a calm mind. With consistent, intentional, and sensible practice, many challenging postures become much more accessible.🤸🏼♀️
The goal of Ashtanga is to prepare the body for meditation practice. All that hard work, builds up to MEDITATION.✨
Fancy giving it a try?👀
