Introducing our returning riders for 2027!

A familiar group of faces who have helped shape Wold Top Pactimo RT into what it is today, and who will continue to play a big part in where we’re heading next.

With some exciting ambitions for 2027, we’re looking forward to building on what we’ve achieved together and taking another step forward as a team.

And we’re not quite finished assembling the squad yet… (subtle foreshadowing…).

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this one is purely about emotion and brotherhood. 📸

Toby’s win at the VC Norwich Road Race wasn’t just a victory. It was the payoff for a rider who refused to quit, and a team that stood by him throughout.

The emotion at this finish line had been building for over a year.

After being hit by a car in training and dealing with a terrifying recurring condition that caused his throat to close up, Toby had all but written off this season. A road race win — something he hadn’t achieved in over 10 years — seemed a long way away. Especially in a Nat.B.

But this team doesn’t let you face setbacks alone.

The teamwork on the day was phenomenal. Max, Phil and Toby were in every move from the gun. When an early puncture ended Max’s race, he and his girlfriend Anna went straight to the sidelines, handing out bottles and keeping the squad fuelled. Phil then forced a gap up the road, giving Toby the perfect opportunity to save his legs.

Then Toby hit out in an 80km breakaway in brutal crosswinds.

Everyone on the sidelines was riding every pedal stroke with him. When he took that final sprint and threw his arms in the air, it released a wave of emotion across the whole squad.

Relief. Joy. Pride. And a result that meant far more than simply crossing the line first.

We ride together, we win together. 🔴⚫️

For 2027, we’re looking to take another step forward.

Alongside the wider Wold Top Pactimo RT team, we’re putting together a more focused elite road squad with the aim of racing some of the biggest races on the UK calendar.

The plan is to target selected National A / Premier Calendar and National B races with a proper team approach — getting our strongest riders to the same races, racing with clear roles and objectives, and ultimately putting Wold Top jerseys on podiums.

We’ll be putting more support around this group too, including race entries, additional race kit, team bonuses and on-the-day support/team car at selected target events.

We’ve got big goals. We know they won’t be easy to achieve, and that’s exactly why getting the right group of people together matters. With a strong squad who are prepared to work for each other, buy into the same goals and race as a team, we genuinely believe we can make some great things happen.

We already have the foundations of a really strong squad, but we’re interested in hearing from a small number of additional riders who believe they could add something to it.

Our lads headed across the Channel to experience Belgian kermesse racing at its rawest. Fast, technical, unforgiving and absolutely relentless.

If you’ve never been to a Belgian race, it’s difficult to explain the atmosphere. Entire towns turn out to watch. Kids chase riders for bidons. Photographers line the finish. Hundreds of riders pin numbers on knowing it’ll be full gas from kilometre one.

Three races in three days: a Friday night crit after seven hours in the van, a brutally fast cobbled kermesse, and a 120km road race raced in 35°C heat.

Josh grew into the weekend, handling the cobbles brilliantly and looking increasingly comfortable at this level before an unlucky puncture ended his final race. Rather than calling it a day, he jumped straight into helping the team, keeping bottles and ice flowing in the heat.

Toby battled through mechanicals, breathing issues and brutal conditions to keep fighting to the finish.

Marcus left Belgium without the result he wanted, but with something far more valuable. After a difficult few weeks mentally, he rediscovered his enjoyment for racing, realised the physical level isn’t a million miles away, and experienced first-hand just how important positioning becomes when 175 riders are racing at nearly 50kph.

These trips aren’t just about results. They’re about experiencing a different level of racing, learning lessons you simply can’t replicate at home, and coming back as better bike riders.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the trip, and to the organisers, volunteers and fans who made us feel so welcome.

We’ll take the lessons, keep building, and we’ll be back.

The final round of the Lloyds National Circuit Series heads to the streets of Sheffield this Wednesday, with one last chance to finish the series on a high in front of what is always one of the best crowds of the season.

First up, Otley GP on Wednesday before we head to Ilkley GP on Friday, with a strong squad lining up across both events.

THIS WEEKEND ✊🏻

This weekend, Ryan Manders, Tom Ramsay and Josh Ravn head to Dalby Forest for Dalby Grit – a 110km gravel race through the North York Moors featuring fast forest roads, punchy climbs and technical linking trails.

It’s quickly established itself as one of the UK’s standout gravel events and promises hard racing from start to finish.

Dan Barnes, Jason, Mark Agent and Barney Hall are heading to the GIANT Tugby Ronde van Wymeswold, a National B stage race featuring a mix of road racing and an individual time trial across two days in the Leicestershire countryside.

With overall classifications, leaders’ jerseys and strong domestic fields, it’s always an aggressive and tactical weekend of racing.

Four riders ready to take on three stages.

June means one thing - the start of the National Circuit Series.

This evening, Phil Large, Mark Agent and Dan Barnes head to Colne for the Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix, lining up in the Open National A race against some of the strongest riders in the country.

The event forms part of the Lloyds National Circuit Series and is raced on Colne’s fast town-centre circuit. (colnegrandprix.org.uk⁠)
