How incredible did our Under 8 Hip Hop and Under 8 Lyrical teams look at training last night? Every rehearsal they grow in confidence, performance and teamwork, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far they’ve come this season.

This weekend is their final competition of Season 10, and we honestly can’t wait to watch our smallest stars take to the floor and shine. No matter what the results say, they’ll already be winners in our eyes. 🩷

11 years ago… 🫶🏼

This first photo is Tasha.

She was 16 years old when she started coaching with us as we opened our doors.

She’d helped coach her school team and had a passion for the sport, but she was only just beginning her coaching journey.

Fast forward 11 years…

The second photo is me with Issy, Amy, Aimee, Grace and Abbie.

They’re all 16 years old too.

The difference?

Each of them already has around six years of coaching experience.

They’ve grown up within our programme, been mentored by senior coaches, competed in Orlando, celebrated All Star Worlds bids, and spent years learning before taking on bigger coaching roles.

That isn’t because they’re better than Tasha was.

It’s because our coaching pathway is.

Over the last 11 years, we’ve learnt, evolved and invested in developing young coaches from an earlier age, giving them the opportunity to build confidence, knowledge and experience year after year.

Tasha was once the young coach finding her feet.

Now she’s helping shape the next generation.

And one day, these girls will do exactly the same.

We haven’t changed the age of our coaches. We’ve changed the opportunities we give them before they get there. 🩷🩵

We are so excited to finally introduce our Season 11 dance coaching team! 💖🩵

A huge welcome back to Coach Kenz, who’ll be taking on her own team this season! Kenz has been part of the Elements family for years but took some time out for university and the world of work. We’re so happy to have her back doing what she does best. 🫶

We’re also incredibly excited to welcome Becca as a trainee Coach. After an amazing first season with Elements, she’s shown not only what a beautiful performer she is, but also the kind, positive energy she brings to every training session. We know she’s going to be fantastic in this role. 🌟

Alongside Becci, Tasha and our amazing junior coaches, we have a coaching team we’re incredibly proud of. And for anyone still wondering about our “kids coaching kids”… 😏 those same junior coaches helped produce some of our highest-scoring dance routines of the entire season. We think the results speak for themselves. 💅

Between us, Becci and Tasha have worked an extra 60+ hours this week organising assessments, team selections, timetables, emails, launch packs and everything that goes into building Season 11. 😴☕💻

So we’re officially switching off for the rest of the weekend!
