We started off the stronger team dominating the game with endless pressure with some lovely through balls and keeping the Morton defence on the ropes.
Finley rounded the keeper to score and Baxter scoring a powerful shot through the keepers hands.

2-0 HT

Second half we dug in despite tiring and were 4-1 up with a lobbed goal from Baxter and an OG from a Morton defender.

The last few minutes were nervous as Morton scored and then a mix up in defence made it 4-3.

The boys worked tirelessly and emotions were raw at the end when a few up the lads (and parents😉) thought the final score was 3-3 instead of us winning.

We can all be pleased with a 3 wins on the bounce in what was a tough away day for the lads but really well done to all.👏🏻👏🏻

A game of 2 halves today

We struggled first half but the boys dug deep and went in 4-1 up against a very well drilled Threave team.

A good team talk and a reshuffle at halftime and boys came out with renewed effort and determination and the scored a further 3 unanswered goals.

Tiredness and some injuries made us ship a few goals but a final push finished the game 10-6 to Greystone.

We have been drawn to play away against Crosshouse community football club in the youth Scottish cup on the weekend of 12th/13th September in Kilmarnock.

The hard work put in during pre season is starting to show off and everyone can be so proud of the effort, determination and passion shown today.

An end to end game but we can be sure the team controlled the majority of the game and on another day we would have had many more goals.

We can’t ignore some excellent goalkeeping from both Liam and Deacon.👏🏻🧤
