We are incredibly proud of Zosia McDonald! ❤️

Zosia started her swimming journey with Lucas’s Swimming Academy when she was very young. I have had the pleasure of teaching her from the early stages of learning to swim, watching her confidence, technique and passion for swimming grow year after year.

After progressing through our swimming school, Zosia took the next step in her swimming journey by joining a swimming club — and now she has achieved another fantastic milestone.

🏅 Zosia has been selected for the East District Swimming Junior Academy for the 2026–2027 season!

This is part of the Scottish Swimming Development Programme, bringing together young swimmers for specialist coaching and development with experienced coaches from across Scotland.

Seeing a swimmer who started with us take these next steps is one of the most rewarding parts of being a swimming teacher and coach.

many years of swimming lessons, these two boys, who have been with Lucas Swimming Academy since day one( almost 7-8 years together wow , have today officially completed all their levels and earned their certificates. I’m so proud of them as they. It’s a time to say goodbye 🥲🥲🥲
