Recent progress at our Tesco Dumfries project carried out by 1st Roofing & Cladding Ltd. 😎

Our team safely removed the damaged KlasseClad wrap along with all water-damaged insulation to expose and prepare the existing ductwork for reinstatement.

New foil-faced Isover insulation was installed using specialist spray adhesive to ensure full bond and coverage, followed by the installation of new stucco aluminium flat plates to fully encapsulate the system. All joints were sealed and mechanically fixed to provide a durable, weather-resistant finish.

A full strip, replace, and encapsulation package delivered to extend the life of the system and maintain thermal performance.

Our team completed the safe removal of the existing redundant vent systems before installing new 6x4 timber framing and doubling up with 18mm structural ply to create a solid, secure base ready for the new plant installation.

The area will now be fully weathered using the Cure It GRP roofing system, ensuring a durable, watertight finish built to last.
